Connect the module to the mains (240V/50Hz) using the USB cable and the included transformer. Insert the speaker plug into the speaker output of the module. Connect the supplied switch with two wires to the screw terminals of the module labelled PB (Push Button). Briefly press the Push Button to start or stop the playback of the sound file.
The maximum size of an MP3 sound file that can be used with the module is 4 MB.
Yes, instead of the included manual switch you can also use, for example, a reed switch or the switching contact of a relay. In all these cases there is a make/break-connection of the power supply from the module itself.
Yes, you can connect the module to a DCC system. The DCC connection to the module is via an opto-coupler, to prevent short circuits between the power supplies of the module and the DCC system.
