Make yourself familiar with the your new dry steam iron according to the description. Pay attention to the sale guards; they shall assist you to avoid accidents and damages.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

- Connect steam iron whit a correctly installed power point (120V). Make sure that the voltage of your steam iron is in accordance with the voltage of your power supply.

- Do not allow children use it.

- Unplug the appliance even during short-term absence.

- The iron must not left unattended while it is connected to the supply.

- The plug must be removed from the socket-outlet before the water reservoir is filled with water.

- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer of its service agent or a similarly qualified in ordeto avoid hazard.

- Do not use the dry steam iron if the appliance itself cable or the plug are damaged.

- Do not immerse the dry steam iron into water.

- Keep the cable away from hot steam plate.

- Let the steam iron completely cool down storing.

- Always keep the instruction manual. In case the steam iron is given away to a third person instruction manual must be handed over, too.

- Note: Before first use test with an old tissue whether the steam plate and water tank are clean. Some parts have been slightly greased, thus smoke can raise during first use. This should stop after some moments.

- the iron must be used and rested on a stable surface;

- when placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the surface on which the stand is placed is stable;

The iron is not to be used if it has been dropped, if there are visible signs of damage or if it is leaking

USE

Remove the protection film from the steam plate before first use.

You can use your steam iron with usual tap -water. Should the water harder than 17C o , destilled or demineralized water has to be used to increase the steam iron’s life span.

FILL IN WATER TANK (FOR STEAM IRONING)

Unplug the appliance an screw the temperature control (7) to position “0” (minimal).

Fill so much water into the tank until the water-level is visible with horizontal by hold tank in the middle of the transparent window.

Now connect the steam iron with a correctly installed power point

TEMPERATURE CONTROL

Put the steam iron upright and select the desired temperature with the temperature control (7).

By doing so pay attention to the care symbols on the textiles:

* Chemical fibred /synthetic

** Nature fibred/silk/wool

*** Nature fibred/cotton/linen

Assort your steam laundry to texture and corresponding steam temperature, iron the sensitive materials with the low steam temperature first as steam iron gets essentially faster hot than gets cold.

The pilot light (9) indicates that the steam iron gets hot. After the pilot light is off , the selected temperature has been reached and you can start ironing.

FUNCTIONS

Dry/Steam

You can fix the steam intensity directly by urning turning the steam function “0”=steam dry =maximum steam outflow

Burst of steam

To reach a burst of steam, press the button “short burst of steam”.

Attention: Only, use the steam push button when the steam iron has reached the steam or maximum temperature.

Do not press this button more than 3 times at once.

KEEPING/CLEANING/CARE

Switch the steam iron off (Put control-position to minimum temperature; see mark on water tank) and unplug.

Put the steam iron upright and let it completely cool down, empty the water tank.

Remove residues from steam sole with a vinegar-water solution.

Rub the cabinet with a moisted cloth and finally rub it dry.

AUTOMATIC ELECTRICITY INTERRUPTION FOR SECURITY

In case the installed thermostat gets out of order the power supply will stop automatically to avoid the steam iron to overheat. In this case the steam iron has to be repaired by the service point.

SELF CLEAN

The function of self clean is to clean the soleplate when you use this iron about half of year.

You must be:

1. Fill the iron and plug in;

2. When the temperature attaches “MAX”, press the self clean-Button for about 1 minute;

3. Plug into power in order to dry the water in soleplate off

4. Conduct self cleaning only with a basin to collect all water. Otherwise the hot water will be spilled maybe over the user.

CLEANING / CARE

According to frequency of use it is recommended that you should monthly clean the steam iron-this will increase the steam iron’s life span.

- Fill the water tank half with water.

- Put the steam iron upright.

- Put the thermostat (7) to the “max”-position and connect the steam iron with the mains.

- Water until the steam iron is completely hot (the pilot light switches out).

- Unplug the steam iron.

- Hold the steam iron horizontally over the wash - basin.

- Put the steam function (2) to the maximum – position (cleaning). In this position it can be pulled a bit upwards.

- Now hot water and steam are coming out of the apparatus. Residues like e.g. chalk depositions (if available) should be washed away with the water coming out.

- Simulate the ironing move until the water tank is almost empty.

- Put thermostat (7) to the “max”- position, let the steam iron become hot again. The remaining tank water vaporizes and comes out through the apparatus.

- We recommend moving the steam iron over an old tissue during this process.

USO

Retire la película protectora de la placa de vapor antes del primer uso.

Puede usar su plancha de vapor con agua corriente habitual. Si el agua es más dura que 17C o , se debe usar agua destilada o desmineralizada para aumentar la vida útil de la plancha de vapor.

LLENE EL TANQUE DE AGUA (PARA PLANCHAR CON VAPOR)

Desenchufe el aparato y atornille el control de temperatura (7) a la posición "0" (mínimo).

Llene tanta agua en el tanque hasta que el nivel del agua sea visible con horizontal sosteniendo el tanque en el medio de la ventana transparente.

Ahora conecte la plancha de vapor con un punto de alimentación instalado correctamente

CONTROL DE TEMPERATURA

Coloque la plancha de vapor en posición vertical y seleccione la temperatura deseada con el control de temperatura (7).

Al hacerlo, preste atención a los símbolos de cuidado en los textiles:

* Químico fibroso / sintético

** Naturaleza fibrosa / seda / lana

*** Nature fibred / algodón / lino

Clasifique su ropa de vapor a la textura y la temperatura de vapor correspondiente, planche primero los materiales sensibles con la baja temperatura de vapor ya que la plancha de vapor se calienta esencialmente más rápido que el frío.

La luz piloto (9) indica que la plancha de vapor se calienta. Después de que la luz piloto se apaga, se alcanza la temperatura seleccionada y puede comenzar a planchar.

FUNCIONES

Rociador de agua

Para humedecer la ropa de vapor, presione el botón “rociar agua”

Seco / Vapor

Puede corregir la intensidad del vapor directamente girando girando el función de vapor “0” = vapor seco

= salida máxima de vapor

Ráfaga de vapor

Para alcanzar una ráfaga de vapor, presione el botón "breve ráfaga de vapor"

Atención: solo use el botón de vapor cuando la plancha de vapor haya alcanzado el vapor o temperatura máxima.

No presione este botón más de 3 veces a la vez.

MANTENIMIENTO / LIMPIEZA / CUIDADO

Apague la plancha de vapor (coloque la posición de control a la temperatura mínima; vea la marca en el tanque de agua) y desenchúfela. Coloque la plancha de vapor en posición vertical y deje que se enfríe por completo, vacíe el tanque de agua.

Elimine los residuos de la suela de vapor con una solución de agua y vinagre. Frota el gabinete con un paño húmedo y finalmente frótalo para secarlo.

INTERRUPCIÓN AUTOMÁTICA DE LA ELECTRICIDAD POR SEGURIDAD.

En caso de que el termostato instalado se descomponga, la fuente de alimentación se detendrá automáticamente para evitar que la plancha de vapor se sobrecaliente. En este caso, la plancha de vapor debe ser reparada por el punto de servicio.

AUTOLIMPIEZA

La función de autolimpieza es limpiar la suela cuando usa esta plancha aproximadamente la mitad del año.

Usted debe ser:

1. Llene la plancha y conéctela;

2. Cuando la temperatura alcanza "MÁX", presione el botón de autolimpieza durante aproximadamente 1 minuto;

3. Enchufe a la corriente para secar el agua de la suela

4. Realice una autolimpieza solo con un recipiente para recoger toda el agua. De lo contrario, el agua caliente se derramará sobre el usuario.

LIMPIEZA / CUIDADO

Según la frecuencia de uso, se recomienda que limpie mensualmente la plancha de vapor, esto aumentará la vida útil de la plancha de vapor.

- Llene la mitad del tanque de agua con agua.

- Ponga la plancha de vapor en posición vertical.

- Coloque el termostato (7) en la posición "max" y conecte la plancha de vapor a la red eléctrica.

- Riegue hasta que la plancha de vapor esté completamente caliente (la luz piloto se apaga).

- Desenchufe la plancha de vapor.

- Mantenga la plancha de vapor horizontalmente sobre el lavabo.

- Ponga la función de vapor (2) en la posición máxima (limpieza). En esta posición se puede tirar un poco hacia arriba.

- Ahora sale agua caliente y vapor del aparato. Residuos como p. las deposiciones de tiza (si están disponibles) deben lavarse con el agua que sale.

- Simule el movimiento de planchado hasta que el tanque de agua esté casi vacío.

- Coloque el termostato (7) en la posición "max", deje que la plancha de vapor se caliente nuevamente. El agua restante del tanque se vaporiza y sale a través del aparato.

- Recomendamos mover la plancha de vapor sobre un tejido viejo durante este proceso.
