HIGH PRESSURE SPRAY CAM CAUSE EXTREMELY SERIOUS INJURY.

OBSERVE ALL WARNINGS. FOR PROFESSIONAL USE ONLY.

Read and understand all instruction manuals, tags, and warnings before operating equipment.

AVOID I N J E C T I O N H 4 Z A R D

Fluids under high pressure from spray or leaks can penetrate the skin and cause extremely serious bodily injury, including the need for amputation.

NEVER point the spray gun a t anyone or any part of the body.

NEVER put hand or fingers over the spray tip.

NEV€R try t o stop or deflect leaks with your hand or body.

ALWAYS have tip guard in place when spraying.

N N E R try to "blow back" paint; this is NOT an air spray sprayer.

MEDICAL T R E A T M E N T

If any fluid appears to penetrate your skin, get

EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE AT ONCE.

DO NOT TREAT AS A SIMPLE CUT.

Tell the doctor exactly what fluid was injected. For treatment instructions have your doctor call the

NATIONAL POISON CENTER NETWORK

AVOID C O M P O N E N T RUPTUREE@&

This sprayer develops fluid pressure 63 incoming air pressure, or 5ooo psi (345 a t a maximum 79 psi (5.4 bar) air pressure t o the motor. Be sure that all system components have a maximum working pressure rating at least as high as this. Lower rated ac- cessories may not be able to withstand the pressure developed by the pump and could rupture and result in serious bodily in- jury and property damage.

PRESSURE R E LI E F PROCE DUR E

To reduce the risk of injection or serious bodily injury, always follow this procedure before installing, removing, cleaning, repairing, or shutting off the system:

Engage the gun safety latch. Turn off the air to the pump.

Close the bleed-type master air valve (required in system for relieving pressure). Disengage the gun safetylatch.. While holding a metal part of the gun firmly against a metal waste container, trigger the gun into the waste container until pressure is relieved. Engage the gun safety latch. Open the drain valve (required in system for relieving pressurel, having a container ready t o catch the draining fluid. Leave the drain valve open until you are ready t o spray again.

Clogged Tlp or Hose

Be very careful when removing the spray tip or hose from gun.

A plugged line contains fluid under pressure. If tip or hose is plugged, follow the Pressure Relief Procedure, above, then loosen the tip guard or hose coupling slightly and relieve the pressure slowly before removing completely.

S P R A Y GUN S A F E N B

CHECK OPERATION OF

BEFORE EACH USE.

ALL GUN SAFETY DEVICES

DO NOT REMOVE OR MODIFY any part of the gun.

Removal or modification of any part of the gun could cause it t o malfunction resulting in serious bodily injury.

Safety Latch

When spray gun is not actually spraying, always set the gun safety latch in the closed or "Safe" position, making the gun inoperative. Failure t o set the safety latch can result in ac- cidentally triggering the gun which can cause serious bodily injury.

Diffuser

The gun diffuser breaks up the spray and helps reduce the chance of injection when the tip is not installed. Check dif- fuser operation regularly. Be sure fluid pressure is relieved, then remove spray tip, aim gun into metal waste container, then using the lowest possible pressure, trigger the gun. If fluid emitted is not diffused into an irregular stream, replace diffuser immediately.

Do not attempt to clean the tip while it is still in the gun.

Always remove it from gun to clean. Cleaning it while still in the gun could dislodge the clog and release high pressure fluid which could result in serious bodily injury, including injection.

SVSTEM COMPONFNT'

NEVER alter or modify any part of the equipment. Alterations or modifications of any pan of the equipment could cause it to malfunction, resulting in serious bodily injury, including injection.

NEVER operate the pump with the air motor muffler plates removed t o avoid pinching or amputating fingers on moving parts inside the air motor.

HOSE

Tighten all fluid connections securely before each use. High pressure fluid can dislodge a loose coupling or allow high pressure spray t o be emitted from the coupling and result in serious bodily injury, including injection.

Use only with hose having a spring guard. The spring guard helps protect the hose from damage which could result in hose rupture and serious bodily injury, including injection.

NEVER use a damaged hose, which can result in hose failure or rupture and cause an injection injury or other serious bodily injury or property damage. Before each use, check entire hose for cuts, leaks, abrasion, or bulging of cover, or damage or movement of couplings. If any of these conditions exist, replace the hose immediately. Never use tape orany device to try to mend the hose as it cannot contain the high pressure fluid. NEVER ATTEMPT TO RECOUPLE THE HOSE. High pressure hose is not recoupleable.

Help prevent damage to the hose by handling and routing carefully. Do not move the pump by pulling it with the hose.

Pressure Relief Procedure

To reduce the risk of injection or serious bodily in- jury, ALWAYS follow this procedure before in- stalling, removing, cleaning, repairing, or shutting off the system:

Engage the gun safety latch. Turn off the air to the pump. Close the bleed-type master air valve (re- quired in system for relieving pressure).

Disengage the gun safety latch. While holding a metal part of the gun firmly against a metal waste container, trigger the gun into the waste container until pressure is relieved. Engage the gun safety latch. Open the drain valve (required in system for relieving pressure),' having a container ready to catch the draining fluid. Leave the drain valve open until you are ready to use the sprayer again.
