Shower Bead

The must-have solution for finishing around showers and tubs! Shower Bead acts as an oversized tear away L bead, bridging gaps 2" or less between drywall and other substrates. But finishers especially love it for shower/tub enclosures because it uses significantly less mud than filling and paper-taping those sizable gaps, offering a mold-free alternative to paper in damp areas like these.

Step 1:

Before Installation:

Measure, cut and dry fit the bead.

Step 1:

Coat both the bead and edge of drywall with Trim-Tex 847 Spray Adhesive.

Step 2:

Press the bead in place, applying pressure to the mud legs.

Step 3:

Staple every 6”-8” using ½” staples.

Step 4:

Finish with drywall compound. Remove tear-off strips prior to sanding.

Step 5:

Apply sealant to joint if necessary.
