UV Protection Sheet is designed to protect the display unit’s screen from ultraviolet rays and dirt.

• This sheet reduces the impact on the touch panel from ultraviolet rays.

• This sheet does not interfere in any way with the touch panel’s operation.

Notes

• Display unit is not designed for outdoor use. Using this sheet does not change this

recommendation nor is it a guarantee that the display unit can be used outdoors.

• In operating environments with high levels of humidity and moisture, condensation or mist may

form between the sheet and the screen. This is a normal consequence.

• In operating environments with high temperatures and high levels of humidity, Newton rings may

form on the sheet.

• This sheet is not designed to protect against sharp or hard objects.

• When scratches form on the surface of this sheet, UV protection is reduced. Please replace the

sheet with a new one.

• When dirt and smudges on the sheet begin to reduce the screen's visibility, please replace the

sheet with a new one. We recommend replacing this sheet once a year.

DAMAGE OF THE SCREEN

If the sheet starts to peel away from the screen, DO NOT use a sharp object (such as the tip of a mechanical pencil or a screwdriver) or hard object to remove the sheet.

Failure to follow these instructions can result in equipment damage.

How to Attach the Protection Sheet on the Screen

Clean the screen thoroughly with a soft cloth (use either water or a neutral detergent to remove tougher stains).

Remove the sheet's Protective Film.

Backing Sheet

Peel off the Backing Sheet slightly to expose the Protection Sheet's adhesive surface.

Start at the top of the screen, slowly attach the Protection Sheet while peeling off the Backing Sheet.
