OPERATION

The UV/IR2 / UV/IR2-EX (Explosion proof) detector discriminates between flames and other light sources by responding only to set optical wavelenghts and flame flicker frequencies. The built-in filters and signal processing techniques help reduce false alarms due to flickering sunlight. Talentum's Flame Detector Test Unit

(Part #016091) can be utilize to test the flame detector.
