INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
FOR CTA2SQ/120 or CTA2SQ/150 ADAPTERS
These adapters are designed for applications where the finished ceiling thickness is greater than 3/4˝. They can be attached to the
Aculux recessed fixture before or after installing the fixture, ceiling, and/or flangeless adapter.
Using the chart below, confirm the adapter is compatible with the given ceiling thickness and application type. For adjustable fixtures when ceilings are thicker than 1˝, the maximum aiming angle will be limited to less than 40°. At the maximum ceiling thickness, aiming angle will be limited to 25°.

To install CTA2SQ/120 or CTA2SQ/150 adapter:
Step 1.
If fixture is adjustable and has been aimed, return aiming angle to the 0° position.
Step 2 . Remove adjustment or downlight module from fixture by loosening the (4) adjustment screws. Screws must be gradually loosened in an alternating pattern to prevent binding of the module. (see figure 1)
Step 3.
Disconnect power plug from module by depressing latch and pulling away from module. Set module aside.
Step 4.
Fasten the (4) adapter standoffs to the fixture using a screwdriver. (see figure 2)
Step 5.
Reconnect power plug to module, and secure module to adapter standoffs/fixture via the (4) adjustment screws loosened in step 2. (see figure 3)
Step 6.
Level module and install trim per INSTALLING
FINISHING TRIMS section of the instructions that ship with the fixture.

PARA ADAPTADORES CTA2SQ/120 O CTA2SQ/150
Estos adaptadores están diseñados para aplicaciones donde el grosor del techo acabado es mayor a 3/4". También pueden sujetarse al accesorio empotrado Aculux antes o después de la instalación del accesorio, techo y/o adaptador de montaje a ras.
Usando la tabla a continuación, confirme que el adaptador sea compatible con el grosor de techo dado y el tipo de aplicación.
Para accesorios ajustables cuando los techos son más gruesos a 1", el objetivo ángulo máximo estará limitado a menos de 40º.
Al grosor máximo de techo, el objetivo ángulo estará limitado a 25º.

Para instalar un adaptador CTA2SQ/120 o CTA2SQ/150:
Paso 1.
Si el accesorio es ajustable y ha sido apuntado, regrese el ángulo objetivo a la posición de 0º.
Paso 2.
Quite el módulo de ajuste o de luz focal del módulo del accesorio aflojando los (4) tornillos de ajuste usando la llave hexagonal de 5/64" que se envía con el accesorio. Los tornillos deben aflojarse gradualmente en un patrón alternante para prevenir que se trabe el módulo. (Vea la figura 1)
Paso 3.
Desconecte el enchufe de poder del módulo presionando el pestillo y separando del módulo. Ponga el módulo a un lado.
Paso 4.
Sujete los (4) espaciadores del adaptador al accesorio usando un destornillador. (Vea la figura 2)
Paso 5.
Vuelva a conectar el enchufe de potencia en el módulo y vuelva a asegurar el módulo a los espaciadores del adaptador/accesorio por medio de los (4) tornillos de ajuste que se quitaron en el paso 2. (Vea la figura 3)
Paso 6.
Nivele el módulo e instale el borde según la sección de las instrucciones INSTALAR BORDES DE ACABADO, que se envían con el accesorio.
