Einführung in die Open Plattform Communication - Unified Architecture (OPC-UA) und gibt einen Überblick über die Eigenschaften und Funktionen der OPC-UA fähigen Geräte von Leuze electronic. • Eine Einführung zu OPC-UA als Kommunikationsstandard für Industrie 4.0-Systeme. • Die wesentlichen Merkmale von OPC-UA sowie die OPC- Foundation werden im Kapitel „Grundlagen“ kurz erläutert. • Wichtige Fachbegriffe aus dem Kontext von OPC-UA werden im Kapitel „Begriffe“ erklärt. • Weiterhin werden die Eigenschaften der Leuze electronic-spezifischen OPC-UA Server-Implementierungen beschrieben. 1.2 Datenkommunikation bei Industrie 4.0 Daten spielen eine zentrale Rolle bei Industrie 4.0. Bei Industrie 4.0 oder IIoT geht es in erster Linie um Daten und den Austausch von Daten über alle Systemgrenzen hinweg. Ein Großteil dieser Daten wird mit Hilfe von Sensoren generiert. Grundsätzlich besteht die Aufgabe eines Sensors darin, Sensordaten aufzunehmen und über eine Schnittstelle nach außen zu übermitteln. • Bei einfachen binär schaltenden Sensoren ist das meist nur ein Schaltbit. • Bei distanzmessenden Sensoren wird als Schnittstelle oft ein Analogausgang verwendet. • Bei Absolutwertgebern werden die Positionsinformationen in der Regel über serielle Schnittstellen, wie z. B. SSI übertragen. Diese Schnittstellen sind jedoch ausschließlich dafür geeignet, Prozessdaten zu übermitteln. Diese Schnittstellen werden vermutlich auch längerfristig ihre Berechtigung für die Übermittlung von Prozessdaten behalten. Allerdings werden zusätzliche und neue Protokolle und Schnittstellen hinzukommen, über die Daten übertragen werden, welche nicht Prozessdaten sind. Ein wichtiger Gesichtspunkt für einen Weg in Richtung Industrie 4.0 sind die Themen Diagnose, Predictive Maintainance, Rezepturwechsel sowie Formatumstellung bei der Konfiguration von Maschinen und Anlagen im Produktionsbetrieb. Dafür ist es nötig, Diagnose- und Konfigurationsdaten mit dem Sensor auszutauschen. Hierzu muss der Sensor mit Kommunikationsschnittstellen ausgestattetet werden, über die komplexere Daten übermittelt werden können. Je nach Leistungsbedarf und Kostenpunkt kann dies eine Feldbus-Schnittstelle, wie z. B. PROFINET, oder eine standardisierte serielle Kommunikationsschnittstelle wie IO-Link sein. Über diese Schnittstellen können sowohl die Prozess- aber auch Diagnose- und Konfigurationsdaten mit der Steuerung ausgetauscht werden. Die Implementierung einer solchen Schnittstelle ist ein erster Schritt in Richtung größerer Datentransparenz und damit auch ein Schritt in Richtung Industrie 4.0. Leuze electronic OPC-UA 3 Einführung 1.3 Referenzarchitekturmodell RAMI 4.0 Eine intelligente und standardisierte Datenschnittstelle ist die Voraussetzung für eine hohe Datentransparenz und damit eine Basis für Industrie 4.0. Die Schnittstelle alleine reicht aber noch nicht, um Industrie 4.0-Systeme realisieren zu können. Das Referenzarchitekturmodell RAMI 4.0 der Plattform „Industrie 4.0“ (VDI/VDE und ZVEI) liefert eine Darstellung für Industrie 4.0. Hier werden Daten zu dem Produkt wie beispielsweise Produktionsdaten, Datenblätter, Konfigurationsdaten usw. gesammelt. • In der zweiten Dimension wird die IT-Repräsentanz beschrieben. • In der dritten Dimension wird eine Hierarchie aufgezeichnet. Das ist im Prinzip die bekannte Automatisierungspyramide, erweitert um die Punkte Product unterhalb der Feldebene und der Connected World oberhalb der Unternehmensebene. Auf der Feldebene befinden sich die physischen Assets wie z. B. Sensoren und Aktoren. Diese Assets werden auch häufig als Edge-Devices bezeichnet, da sie sich aus Sicht des Datenflusses betrachtet, am Rande der Connected World befinden. Das bedeutet, dass ein Sensor (Field Device) über alle Ebenen des RAMI-Modells Daten austauschen können muss, wenn er als echte Industrie 4.0-Komponente funktionieren können soll. • Industrie 4.0 verlangt einen sicheren, einheitlichen Standard für den Ebenen-übergreifenden Austausch von Daten - von der untersten Feld- bis in die oberste Unternehmensebene. • Der Kommunikationsstandard OPC-UA erfüllt durch seine Plattformunabhängigkeit, die integrierte Sicherheit und die semantische Datenbeschreibung mehrere dieser Anforderungen (siehe Kapitel 1.4 "Kommunikationsstandard OPC-UA"). Das Referenzarchitekturmodell Industrie 4.0 (RAMI 4.0) empfiehlt daher OPC-UA als einzigen Standard für die Realisierung der Kommunikationsschicht. Leuze electronic OPC-UA 4 Einführung 1.4 Kommunikationsstandard OPC-UA Eine der vielversprechendsten Realisierungen von Industrie 4.0-Systemen erfolgt derzeit über die Nutzung des OPC-UA-Protokolls. OPC-UA Standard • OPC steht für Open Platform Communications, UA steht für Unified Architecture. • OPC ist ein Satz von Standards für die industrielle Kommunikation. Dieser wurde zwischen 1994 und 1996 unter dem Namen OLE for Process Control entwickelt, um Prozessdaten von Aktoren und Sensoren unterschiedlicher Hersteller mit SCADA- und HMI-Systemen auszutauschen. OPC basiert dabei auf den Microsoft Technologien OLE, COM und DCOM. • OPC-UA ist eine signifikante Weiterentwicklung von OPC, die 2006 das erste Mal veröffentlicht wurde und stetig weiter entwickelt wird. Der große Fortschritt im Sinne von Industrie 4.0 besteht darin, dass OPC-UA als plattformübergreifende Implementierung realisiert wurde und damit nicht mehr an Windows-Plattformen gebunden ist. • OPC-UA ist ein betriebssystem- und plattformunabhängiger, herstellerübergreifender InteroperabilitätsStandard für den Austausch von Daten und Informationen zwischen Geräten, Maschinen und Computersystemen in der industriellen Automatisierungstechnik. Damit und mit den ebenfalls im Standard integrierten Sicherheitsmechanismen ist OPC-UA eine Technologie für den direkten und sicheren Datenaustausch über alle Ebenen der Automatisierungs-Pyramide hinweg, von der Feld- und Sensorebene bis in die IT-Ebene und somit auch in unternehmensweite Systeme für die Produktionsplanung oder Steuerung, sowie globale Cloud-Systeme. • OPC-UA kann sogar auf Embedded-Systemen, wie sie in Edge-Devices üblich sind, implementiert werden. Hinzu kommt, dass Daten, die auf dem OPC-UA-Informationsmodell basieren, sich mit den OPCUA-Protokollen über alle Ethernet-basierenden Feldbus-Schnittstellen wie z. B. PROFINET oder EtherCAT übertragen lassen. Integrierte Sicherheit OPC-UA beinhaltet integrierte Sicherheitsmechanismen zu Authentifizierung, Autorisierung, Verschlüsselung und Datenintegrität mit Signaturen (siehe Kapitel 2.3 "Integrierte Sicherheit"). Damit erlaubt OPC-UA eine sichere Kommunikation, was bei den Kommunikationsmethoden, wie sie üblicherweise im industriellen Umfeld eingesetzt werden, nicht der Fall ist. OPC-UA Kommunikation Von der Feldebene der Automatisierungspyramide kann OPC-UA über zwei unterschiedliche Mechanismen in höhere Schichten (z. B. die ERP-Schicht) kommunizieren: • Über eine Client/Server-Kommunikation Bei der Client/Server-Kommunikation wird in der Datenquelle, z. B. in einem Sensor, ein OPC-UA-Server integriert, der Daten an einen Datenabnehmer liefern kann. • Über ein Publisher Verfahren Beim Publisher Verfahren wird ein OPC-UA-Publisher in der Datenquelle integriert. Dieser Publisher kann seine Daten dann verschiedenen Datenabnehmern zur Verfügung stellen. Gibt es mehr als eine Datenquelle (Sensor) im System, kann der Datenabnehmer entscheiden, an welchen Daten von welchem Publisher er interessiert ist. Der Abnehmer muss damit nicht immer die Daten aller Publisher empfangen. Über das Publisher Verfahren ist zum einen eine Kommunikation von m Datenquellen zu n Daten-Abnehmern möglich. Zum anderen kann sich eine Daten-Cloud interessante Daten direkt von der Datenquelle holen. Auch in der entgegengesetzten Richtung - von der Cloud in das Edge-Device - ist eine Kommunikation möglich, um z. B. Software-Uploads oder Konfigurationen zu ermöglichen. OPC-UA kann somit die Schichten der Automatisierungspyramide quasi „durchtunneln“ und Daten im gesamten RAMI-Model verteilen. Semantische Beschreibung Neben den Vorzügen hinsichtlich der Kommunikation und dem sicheren Transport von Daten, ist eine weitere Stärke von OPC UA die Möglichkeit, neben den reinen Datenwerten auch deren Bedeutung semantisch zu beschreiben. Damit ermöglicht OPC UA einen herstellerunabhängigen, maschineninterpretierbaren Zugriff auf die Daten und eignet sich besonders für den automatisierten Datenaustausch über alle Ebenen hinweg. Leuze electronic OPC-UA 5 Einführung Datenaustausch Dank der sicheren Kommunikation ist ein Austausch von Daten zwischen unterschiedlichen Systemen über öffentliche Kanäle denkbar. Industrie 4.0 und IIoT stehen für den Austausch von Daten zwischen erfassenden und agierenden Einheiten (Sensoren und Aktoren) über alle Systemgrenzen hinweg. OPC-UA ist daher ein wichtiger Bestandteil von Industrie 4.0. Mit den oben genannten Eigenschaften ist OPC-UA einer der wichtigsten Kandidaten für einen zukünftigen Standard in der Maschine-to-Maschine (M2M) Kommunikation. Leuze electronic hat in Zusammenarbeit mit einem Hersteller von Edge-Devices gezeigt, dass die vollständige technische Umsetzung der Möglichkeiten, die OPC-UA eröffnet, bereits möglich ist. Mit dem BCL 348i hat Leuze electronic einen Sensor präsentiert, der komplexe Daten parallel zu einer Feldbus-Schnittstelle für Prozessdaten und einem Webserver für Diagnosedaten direkt in die Cloud transportiert. In der Cloud können die Daten analysiert und weiterverteilt werden um sie zu visualisieren, z. B. auf einem mobilen Device. Ebenso ist der umgekehrte Weg möglich, einen BCL 348i von einem beliebigen Ort auf der Welt, beispielsweise von einem mobilen Device, über die Cloud anzusprechen. Firma A (z. B. Datenmodell Verwaltungsschale (AAS) Bild 1.4: Leuze electronic Datentransfer mit OPC-UA OPC-UA 6 Grundlagen 2 Grundlagen 2.1 OPC Foundation Die OPC Foundation (https://opcfoundation.org) ist ein global organisiertes Industriekonsortium, das als Non-Profit-Organisation die Spezifikationen der OPC-UA erstellt und verwaltet (siehe Kapitel 2.2 "Spezifikation"). Das Zertifizierungsprogramm der OPC Foundatation ermöglicht die Überprüfung auf korrektes und spezifikationskonformes Verhalten der OPC-UA-Produkte und stellt somit sicher, dass OPC-UA Produkte dem Standard entsprechen (siehe Kapitel 2.1.2 "Zertifizierung"). Leuze electronic ist als Corporate Member stimmberechtigtes Mitglied in der OPC Foundation und in verschiedenen Arbeitskreisen vertreten. 2.1.1 Companion Standards Die OPC Foundation arbeitet eng mit anderen Industrieverbänden zusammen. In gemeinsam mit diesen Organisationen erstellten Informationsmodellen (Companion Standards) werden branchenspezifische Standards auf OPC-UA abgebildet. Die Realisierung eines solchen Standards ermöglicht eine schnelle Integration der Geräte verschiedener Hersteller in eine Applikation. Ein Beispiel für einen solche Companion Standard ist die Spezifikation OPC-UA for AutoID, die in einem Arbeitskreis der OPC Foundation mit der AIM-D e.V. als Standard für Ident-Geräte wie RFID- oder Barcodeleser erstellt wurde. Leuze electronic hat den AutoID-Standard in einer Basisimplementierung für den Barcodeleser BCL 300i und den kamerabasierten Codeleser DCR 200i realisiert. 2.1.2 Zertifizierung Das Zertifizierungsprogramm der OPC Foundation stellt sicher, dass OPC-Produkte dem Standard entsprechen. Die den Mitgliedern der OPC Foundation zur Verfügung gestellte Testsoftware (Compliance Test Tool CTT) kann von den Herstellern für eigene Tests verwendet werden, um die eigenen Produkte auf korrektes und spezifikationskonformes Verhalten zu verifizieren. Dieselbe Software wird ebenfalls in den unabhängigen Zertifizierungslabors für die Zertifizierung der OPCUA-Produkte nach einer definierten Prozedur eingesetzt. Neben dem standardkonformen Verhalten mit dem CTT überprüfen die Zertifizierungslabors auch die Interoperabilität mit anderen Produkten unter realen Betriebsbedingungen, sowie das Verhalten in Fehlerszenarien. OPC-UA-Produkte, die den Zertifizierungstest in einem anerkannten Zertifizierungslabor erfolgreich durchlaufen haben, erhalten als Nachweis das geschützte Zertifizierungslogo der OPC Foundation. Leuze electronic OPC-UA 7 Grundlagen 2.2 Spezifikation Beim OPC-UA-Standard handelt es sich nicht um eine einzelne Spezifikation, sondern um eine Reihe aufeinander aufbauender Teile. Die einzelnen Teile (Parts) definieren die Standards für Architektur und Struktur, Sicherheit, Informationsmodell, Kommunikation, Datenzugriff, etc. (OPC Unified Architecture Specification). Die Teile der Spezifikation lassen sich grob in die folgenden Kategorien untergliedern: • Basis- bzw. Kernspezifikation (Core Specification) • Zugriffsmodelle (Access Type Specification) • Dienstfunktionen (Utility Type Specification). Bild 2.1: Kategorien der OPC-UA Spezifikation [Bild-Quelle: OPC Foundation] IEC-Standard Die OPC-UA-Spezifikation ist mit ihren einzelnen Teilen von der IEC als Normreihe IEC 62541 standardisiert. Leuze electronic OPC-UA 8 Grundlagen 2.3 Integrierte Sicherheit Die OPC-UA Spezifikation beinhaltet integrierte Sicherheitsmechanismen wie Autorisierung, Authentifizierung, Verschlüsselung und Datenintegrität mit Signaturen. In einer vom Bundesamt für Informationssicherheit (BSI) und TÜV SÜD Rail im Jahr 2015 durchgeführten Sicherheitsanalyse konnte bestätigt werden, dass die OPC-UA-Spezifikation unter Berücksichtigung von Sicherheitsaspekten als zentrales Element entwickelt wurde und keine systematischen Sicherheitslücken enthalten sind. HINWEIS Dies bedeutet nicht, dass eine OPC-UA-Applikation grundsätzlich als sicher eingestuft werden kann. Die Sicherheit eines Produkts hängt von der jeweiligen Implementierung ab. In einer im Mai 2018 veröffentlichten Sicherheitsanalyse konnten insgesamt 17 zero-day-Sicherheitslücken in verschiedenen OPC-UA Implementierungen aufgedeckt werden ‑ darunter auch mehrere im Beispiel-Server der OPC-Foundation 2.4 Skalierbarkeit OPC-UA kann in Sensoren genauso verwendet werden wie in eingebetteten Systemen, in Steuerungen, in PC-Systemen und Smartphones wie auch in Servern, auf denen MES oder ERP-Anwendungen laufen. Leuze electronic OPC-UA 9 Begriffe 3 Begriffe 3.1 Adressraum Als Adressraum wird die Sammlung aller Informationen bezeichnet, die ein OPC-UA-Server den Clients bereitstellt. Das Informationsmodell, das darin abgebildet ist, ist kein hierarchisch aus Ordnern, Items und Eigenschaften aufgebauter Baum, sondern ein voll vermaschtes Netz (full mesh network), das aus Knoten (Nodes) und Referenzen (References) besteht. Bild 3.1: Leuze electronic OPC UA Adressraum am Beispiel eines Leuze Barcodelesers OPC-UA 10 Begriffe 3.1.1 Nodes Eine Entität im Adressraum eines OPC-UA-Servers wird als Node (Knoten) bezeichnet. Diese werden je nach ihrer Bedeutung in die Klassen Variable, Object, Method, View, DataType, VariableType, ObjectType oder ReferenceType eingeteilt. Variable Variables werden verwendet, um Werte zu repräsentieren. Hierbei unterscheidet man zwischen DataVariables und Properties. Properties stehen für die Eigenschaft einer Entität (Node), während DataVariables konkrete Datenwerte an sich repräsentieren. Object Objects repräsentieren komplexe Datentypen. Damit lassen sich zum einen reale Komponenten abbilden. Zum anderen können damit auch andere Objekte oder Variablen logisch gruppiert werden, um so eine Container- oder Ordnerstruktur der Daten zu realisieren. Method Methods (Methoden) repräsentieren Funktionen eines OPC-UA Servers, die von einem Client aus aufgerufen werden können. View Ein View ist ein Subset aller Nodes im Adressraum eines Servers. Damit lassen sich große Adressräume in Teilbereiche gliedern, die z. B. nur für bestimmte Clients von Interesse sind. Beispielsweise kann ein Adressraum für unterschiedliche Anwendungsfälle durch View strukturiert werden. Damit kann verschiedenen Usern, abhängig von ihrer jeweiligen Benutzerrolle, unterschiedliche Sichten auf die Daten gegeben werden. Type Definitions Die Nodes DataType, VariableType, ObjectType und ReferenceType definieren Typen anderer Entitäten im Adressraum eines OPC-UA-Servers. 3.1.2 NodeID Die eindeutige Adressierung eines Knotens im OPC UA Adressraum erfolgt über dessen NodeID (Node Identifier). Eine solche NodeID setzt sich zusammen aus dem eigentlichen Identifier und dem Namespace Index (siehe Kapitel 3.1.3 "Namespace"). Der Typ des Identifiers einer NodeID kann ein nummerischer Wert, ein String, ein GUID (Global Unique Identifier), oder ein intransparenter Wert (namespace-spezifscher Binärstring) sein. Die OPC-UA Server-Implementierung der Leuze Geräte unterstützt aktuell nur den nummerischen Identifier Typ. Dies ist zugleich auch der Typ, der am wenigsten Speicher und Bandbreite benötigt und sich daher am besten für Implementierungen in embedded und zeitkritischen Systemen eignet. 3.1.3 Namespace Namespaces (Namensräume) werden verwendet, um Namenskonflikte innerhalb eines OPC-UA-Adressraumes zu vermeiden. Innerhalb eines OPC-UA-Servers werden die im Adressraum enthaltenen Namespaces mit einem Index durchnummeriert. Bild 3.2: Namespaces eines OPC-UA-Servers am Beispiel eines Leuze Barcodelesers HINWEIS Die OPC Foundation hat eine Reihe von Knoten, die Auskunft über den jeweiligen OPC-UA Server geben, definiert und in einem Namespace zusammengefasst. Dieser Basis-Namespace hat immer den Namespace-Index 0. Leuze electronic OPC-UA 11 Begriffe 3.2 Profile Ein Profil ist die formale Beschreibung der Gruppierung von Teilen der in den OPC-UA-Spezifikationen beschriebenen Funktionalitäten. Ein Profil besteht aus Conformance Units und kann selbst wieder andere Profile enthalten. Bild 3.3: 3.4 OPC-UA Endpoints am Beispiel eines Leuze Barcodelesers Discovery Das OPC-UA Discovery Service-Set definiert Dienste, die es OPC-UA Clients erlauben, die von einem Server bereitgestellten Endpoints zu ermitteln und deren Sicherheitseinstellungen zu erhalten. Die Discovery-Dienste werden von einzelnen OPC-UA-Servern oder von dedizierten Discovery-Servern implementiert. 3.4.1 Local Discovery Service Jeder Server muss über einen lokalen Discovery-Endpunkt (Local Discovery Service – LDS) verfügen, auf den Clients zugreifen können, ohne eine Session aufzubauen. Über diesen Endpoint erhalten Clients alle Informationen, die notwendig sind, um eine SecureChannel-Verbindung mit dem Server aufbauen zu können. Die von Leuze electronic implementierten OPC-UA Server stellen diesen LDS-Dienst auf dem Standard Port 4840 bereit. 3.4.2 Global Discovery Service OPC-UA-Server können sich an global bekannten Discovery-Servern (Global Discovery Server – GDS) registrieren. Clients wiederum können eine solchen GDS nutzen, um die zuvor registrierten Server zu ermitteln und so über eine zentrale Stelle die erforderlichen Informationen für den Verbindungsaubau mit allen registrierten Servern zu erhalten. Leuze electronic OPC-UA 12 Begriffe 3.5 Subscription Im Gegensatz zum permanenten, aktiven Lesen von Informationen (Polling-Prinzip) bietet OPC UA den Clients mit den Subscriptions eine elegante Möglichkeit, Daten von Servern abzuholen. • Ein Client kann sich auf die für ihn interessanten Nodes eines Servers registrieren (Monitored Items). Der Server überwacht dann diese Monitored Items innerhalb einer Session. • Bei einer Wertänderung, bzw. beim Auftreten eines überwachten Events, erstellt der Server eine Benachrichtigung für den Client in Form einer Notification Message. Die Subscription veröffentlicht diese Notification Messages zyklisch nach einem zuvor definierten Interval. • Der Subscription-Mechanismus reduziert die zu übertragenden Datenmenge und spart somit Bandbreite in der Kommunikation.
