1. Introduction
The DIGITUS® HDMI Splitter splits your HDMI device’s audio and
video signals on 4 TVs, monitors or projectors with a resolution of
UHD 4K / 60 Hz. Via EDID management, you can choose from 3
modes (Copy, Auto, Downscaler). The integrated Downscaler
supports the display of 4K contents on Full HD displays. Additionally,
4K as well as Full HD displays can be operated simultaneously. Thanks
to its Auto-EDID function, the splitter automatically recognizes the
connected displays - no manual settings required. The video splitter is
supplied with power via the Micro USB cable, e.g., via the source
device or a USB charging adapter.

7. Troubleshooting
Problems
Causes
Solutions
Power light is off and
product is not
working.
No power supply
connected.
No signal output on
the screen.
The HDMI cable
may not comply
with the HDMI 2.0
specification or is
maybe too long.
No picture out only
sound out or output
pink screen.
Maybe the displays
can’t support the
resolution or the
HDCP.
No picture out to a
FHD TV when
connecting a
4K@60Hz source, and
have normal picture
Maybe the
downscaler
function can`t
support the input
signal, such as

Please connect the
micro USB cable and
connect it to the
signal source or, if
necessary, to a USB
charging adapter via a
socket.
Please use at least a
High Speed HDMI 2.0
cable that does not
exceed the maximum
length of the
input/output cable of
5 m for 4K/60Hz
(4:4:4) or 10 m for
4K@30Hz / 1080p.
Change a lower
resolution of the
input HDMI signal to
check whether this
issue or not; if not,
maybe the customer
should change a nonHDCP input source or
HDCP compliant
displays or devices.
The downscaler
function only support
the 4K@60Hz 4:4:4
and 4:2:0(HDR 10)
signal downscaler to
to the 4K HDR
supported TV at the
same time.
4K@60Hz 4:2:2
HDR signal (Dolby
Vision) or when
connect one FHD
TV with a fixed
4K@60Hz output
device.
1080p signal, or there
will be no picture
output to the FHD TV,
the customer need
change a supported
downscaler signal
input.
