6. The Electronic Lice Comb SC 04 should not be operated
by or applied to persons with epileptic conditions and/or
heart-failure patients.
7. The Electronic Lice Comb SC 04 may disrupt the operation
of electronic health devices.
HOW DOES AN ELECTRONIC LICE COMB SC 04 WORK?
The Electronic Lice Comb SC 04 works by transmitting a
small electrical charge to the metal comb. When the metal
comb is combed through dry hair, this electric charge will kill
adult lice. The Electronic Lice Comb’s alert LED will show red
light when a louse had been detected, killed and caught in the
metal comb. Simply remove the louse with the mini brush.
The Electronic Lice Comb SC 04 does not kill the eggs and
some may remain attached to the hair follicle. It is
recommended that combing treatments are repeated every 23 days for 16 days period to ensure that all lice been
eliminated.

WARNINGS

GENERAL NOTES
1. The Electronic Lice Comb SC 04 is not a medical device.
2. The Electronic Lice Comb SC 04 should be used on
children by adults only.
3. The Electronic Lice Comb SC 04 is not water proof.
4. Do not hold metal combs with fingers when the POWER is
on.
5. Some sensitive persons may feel slight tingling; there is
NO electric shock risk.

BUTTON FUNCTIONS
1st stage: Power Off
Push the power slide switch
backward (1st position)to turn off the
device.
2nd stage: Power On
Push the power slide switch forward
(2nd position) to turn on the lice
comb and the alert LED will show
green light. If the battery power is
insufficient, then the alert LED will
show red light for five seconds and
then turn off the power.
3rd stage: Power on & LED light on
Push the power slide switch forward
(3rd position) turn on the lice comb
and the illuminate the LED spotlight.
1. Remove the head cover. Press the power slide switch
forward to 2nd stage to turn on the device and the alert LED
will show green light. Press the power slide switch forward to
3rd stage to turn on the LED spotlight additional.
2. Hold the comb at a 45-degree angle (the ON button is
facing up towards the user) and start combing with the metal
comb near the hair-roots. The LED spotlight can help to see
the louse in low light environment or on those persons with
dark hair.
3. When the comb has trapped and killed a louse, the alert
LED will show red light.
4. Stop combing the hair, and remove the louse from the
metal comb. Use the mini brush to clean the metal comb.
After the louse is cleared, the alert LED will show green light
and the comb is ready for use again.
HOW TO USE
Before Use:
‧Hair must be dry and clean before using this electronic
device. For best results, hair should be free of styling product,
i.e. gels or mousse.
‧Before the treatment, comb the hair thoroughly with a
regular comb to free all knots.

ABOUT THE BATTERY
Warning:
1. The Electric Lice Comb with 1 AAA battery.
2. The batteries must be kept strictly out of the reach of
children.
3. Always use new batteries of the type and specifications
indicated in this manual.
4. Leaking batteries may damage the device. It is
recommended to remove the battery whenever the device is
not expected to be used for an extended period of time.
5. Always dispose of batteries in accordance with applicable
legal regulations. Do not dispose of batteries with the normal
household waste.
REPLACING THE BATTERY
To change the battery, slide and open the battery cover and
remove battery. Replace the new battery being sure to align
properly as indicated inside the battery compartment.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
Cleaning:
‧The metal comb can be cleaned with the included mini
brush.
‧Turn off the device and reverse the metal comb downward
while you cleaning it. Then use the alcohol swab or the soft
cotton moistened with the 70% alcohol to clean the metal
comb.
‧Keep the device dry and away from any liquids.
Storage:
Store the device in a secure, dry, dust-free place when not in
use. Avoid extreme temperatures. Do not attempt to
disassemble the device.
DISPOSAL NOTE
Defect devices or devices which are taken out of
operation at the end of their service life may still
contain residues which could present a risk to the
environment. Please dispose of the device in a
suitable and correct way at a collection point for old
electrical items.
Batteries must be disposed of correctly. There are
containers for battery disposal at battery dealers
and in communal collection points.

manufacturing errors during the guarantee period. If, contrary
to expectations, defects are found, please send the device
back to our customer service department. Please enclose the
proof of purchase and a description of the defect so that the
problem can be rectified as soon as possible. We don´t give a
guarantee in the case of a dirty device.
