GE Healthcare CU-950, CU-960 Control Unit Instructions

The Control Units CU-950 and CU-960 are used as the controlling interface between a UNICORN™ workstation and the components of an ÄKTA™ system. CU-950 is connected to a UNICORN workstation using either a USB port or an Ethernet interface, while CU-960 uses Ethernet interface. CU-960 is the standard control unit delivered with ÄKTAprocess™ and ÄKTAready™ systems. CU-960 is equipped with a 128 MB flash memory card that can buffer run data in the event of a computer failure, communication loss, or power failure. This allows runs to continue and data to be stored until communication is re-established.
