2.1 Intended purpose
2.2 Scope of supply
This Ultimate Speed UAMM 12 A1 car
massage mat provides a relaxing massage
for the shoulder area, back, hip and thighs.
It can be used both in a car and inside dry
indoor rooms.
The device is intended for private use and is
not suitable for commercial or therapeutic
purposes.

3. Safety information
3.1 Explanation of terms
The following keywords are used in these
user instructions:

3.2 General information
• Please read these user instructions
carefully before use. They are a
constituent part of the appliance and
must be kept to hand at all times.
• Use the appliance only for the purpose
described (see “2.1 Intended purpose”
on page 23).
• Check that the mains voltage required
(see type plate on the mains adapter) is
compatible with your mains voltage.
• This appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and/
or lack of knowledge, unless either
supervised by a person responsible for
their safety or given instructions on the
use of the appliance by such a person.
Children should be supervised to ensure
they do not play with the appliance.
• Please note that any claim under the
warranty or for liability will be invalid if
accessories are used that are not
recommended in these user instructions,
or if original spare parts are not used for
repairs. This also applies to repairs

undertaken by unqualified persons. The
contact data can be found in
“9. Warranty” on page 28.
If the appliance should develop a fault
during the warranty period, it may only
be repaired by our Service Centre.
Otherwise all claims under warranty are
null and void.
Do not use any mains adapter other
than the one supplied.
Ensure that it is not possible for anyone
to trip over or to get caught up in or step
on the car plug lead or mains adapter
lead.
The device must not be left operating
without supervision. The development of
an odour is usually the first indication of
major damage, such as overheating.
Never use the device in the car while the
car is in motion. It may act as a
diversion and endanger traffic safety.
If using the device for a prolonged time
with power supplied via the cigarette
lighter, take care that the car battery
does not become fully discharged.
To avoid overheating, the device must
not be operated near to heat sources or
in direct sunlight.
3.3 Protection against electric shock
Warning! The following safety
information is intended to protect
you against electric shock.
• The device must not under any
circumstances be used if the device or
parts of it is damaged. Have the car
massage mat repaired in such cases by
a qualified technician. The contact data
can be found in “9. Warranty” on
page 28.
• Water or other liquids must never be
allowed to enter the device. For this
reason:
– never use it outdoors;
– never use it in very humid
environments;
– never place drinks or other liquids on
the device;
– always keep the mains adapter 13 or
car lead 12 away from moisture.
• If liquid should enter the device, unplug
the power plug 11 immediately and
have the device repaired by a qualified
technician. The contact data can be
found in “9. Warranty” on page 28.
• Never pick up the mains adapter 13
when your hands are wet.
• If you are not using the device for a
prolonged period of time, unplug the
mains adapter 13 or car lead 12. This is
the only way to ensure the complete
absence of electric power and to protect
against the device being switched on
accidentally.
3.4 Road safety
• For use in vehicles, care must be taken
not to obstruct safety equipment, in
particular the side airbag.
• If there is a side airbag in the backrest,
the top rubber securing strap must not
be used.
• If you have any questions about the
airbag, please consult your car manual
or ask at your car workshop.
• Never use the device in the car while the
car is in motion. It may act as a
diversion and endanger traffic safety.
3.5 Protection against injury
Warning! The surface of the device
is hot. Persons who are sensitive to
heat must take care when using the
device.
3.6 For the safety of your child
Warning! Ensure that the packing
film does not become a deadly trap
for a child. Packing film is not a
toy.
Warning! In order not to endanger
safety on the roads, please observe
the following points:

4.1 Using the massage mat in a car

12 into the power socket 10.

3. Plug the mains adapter 13 into a mains
socket that complies with the technical
data.
4. Plug the power plug 11 on the mains
adapter 13 into the power socket 10.
5. Operation
The remote control has background
illumination. If this does not come on, the
background illumination will be switched on
first when button 5, 6 or 7 is pressed for the
first time. Only when the background
illumination is on does the button have the
function described below. The background
illumination goes off again after about 5
seconds.
If you press the OFF button 4, the device
switches off immediately.
5.1 Switching the device on and off
1. To switch the device on, press the ON
button 6.
The LCD display 3 shows "MODE 0”.
2. To switch the device off, press the OFF
button 4.
5.2 Selecting a programme
There are 8 programmes (MODE 1 – 8)
available altogether. The programmes vary
in their intensity, the area massaged and the
massage rhythm.
1. Press the MODE programme button 5.
The device switches to the next
programme and the motors start to
work. The selected programme number
is shown in the LCD display 3.
The timer counts down the minutes,
beginning at 30 minutes.
The remaining time is shown in the LCD
display 3.

As soon as the 30 minutes have expired,
the device switches off automatically.
5.3 Switching the heater on and off
1. To switch the heater on, press the heat
button 7.
Heat will now be produced from inside
the massage mat.
The timer continues to count down the
time (see “5.1 Switching the device on
and off” on page 26). The heating
function does not affect the timer.
The heater switches off automatically
after about 30 minutes.
2. To switch the heater off, press the heat
button 7 again.

6.1 Cleaning the device
To ensure your product gives you lasting
service, you should clean it regularly.
Warning! To avoid the danger of
an electric shock or damage:
– Always disconnect the power
supply before cleaning.
– Never immerse the machine in

– Never allow water or cleaning
agent to run into the machine.
Caution! Never use caustic or abrasive
cleaning agents, as they could damage the
parts.
4. Wipe off with clean water.
5. Do not use the device again until it is
fully dry.
6.2 Changing the fuse in the car lead
There is a fuse in the car lead 12 to protect
the car’s electrical system. If there is no
power supply and the car lead 12 stops
working, you should check and, if
applicable, change this fuse.
1. Unscrew the cap on the top of the car
lead 12.
1. Unplug the power plug 11 from the
power socket 10.
2. Remove the fuse.
2. Clean the massage mat 1 with a clothes
brush.
4. Screw the car lead 12 together again.
3. Insert a new type F3AL 250V fuse.

7.1 Appliance
The symbol with the crossedout rubbish bin on wheels
means that within the European
Union, the product must be
disposed of to a sorted rubbish
collection. This applies to the
product and all accessories which are
marked with this symbol. Marked products
must not be disposed of via the regular
domestic waste but must be handed in to a
recycling centre for electrical or electronic
devices. Recycling helps to reduce the use of

environment. You can obtain information
about disposal and the location of your
nearest recycling centre from your local
waste management service, for example, or
Yellow Pages.

9. Warranty
The warranty for your appliance is valid for
3 years from the date of purchase. The
warranty does not cover damage resulting
from improper connection, the use of
another manufacturer’s parts, normal wear
and tear, the use of force, improper use, or
attempts to carry out repairs yourself. The
appliance has been manufactured in
accordance with strict quality guidelines and
checked before leaving the factory.
Nonetheless, should operational faults
occur, please contact the Service Centre
first.
Please do not send in any appliance before
contacting our Service Centre.
