GENERAL WARNINGS
Carefully keep this manual and read the
warnings; it provides important instructions on safety, immediate and future use of
the appliance.
ATTENTION: This appliance can be used by
children over 8 years of age, people with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or
inexpert people only if they are trained on its
safe use in advance and only if informed of the
dangers linked to the product.
Children cannot play with the appliance.
Cleaning and maintenance of the appliance
cannot be carried out by children without adult
supervision.
• If the appliance is used in bathrooms, remove the plug from the socket after use, because proximity to water is dangerous even
with the appliance off.
• To ensure better protection, you are advised
to install in the electric circuit that powers the
bathroom a differential current device whose
nominal operational differential current is not
over 30mA.
Do not use this appliance near water.

ATTENTION! Do not use this appliance near
baths, showers, sinks or other water containers! Never immerge the appliance in water!
If the power cable is damaged, replace it.
This must be carried out by qualified staff.
When the straightening iron is used in the bathroom, disconnect it after use because water
is a danger for the appliance even when it is off.
This appliance should only be used for its intended use, i.e. as a hair straightening iron.
Any other use is considered improper and dangerous.
If used for professional use the warranty period of the appliance will be 6 months from
the date of purchase.
The manufacturer cannot be considered in any way liable for damage due to improper,
wrong and unreasonable use.
Installation should take place according to manufacturer's instructions. Wrong installation can cause damage to people, animals and property and the manufacturer cannot
be held liable. Safety of electrical appliances is only guaranteed if they are connected
to an electrical system with suitable earthing according to the current standards in
force on electrical safety.
Packaging (plastic bags, expanded polystyrene, etc.) must not be left within reach of
children or incapable people since they are a potential source of danger.
Before connecting the appliance, ensure the plate data corresponds to those of the
electrical mains.
If the plug and socket are incompatible, contact qualified staff for the necessary adaptation operations.
Do not use adapters, multiple sockets and/or extensions.
When their use is indispensable only use material complying with safety standards in
force and having the compatibility requirements with the appliance and the electricity
mains.
When using the appliance for the first time, ensure you have removed the labels and
protective sheet.
Use of any electrical appliance involves complying with certain fundamental rules, in
particular:
ATTENTION: Do not immerge or wet the appliance; do not use it near water, in the
bath, in the sink or near other liquid containers. If the appliance accidentally falls in
water do NOT attempt to take it out.
Instead, immediately remove the plug from the socket.
Then bring it to a qualified support centre for the necessary controls.
During use, the appliance must be kept far from any inflammable or explosive object
or substance.

Do not touch the appliance with wet or damp hands.
Do not use the appliance in bare feet.
Do not pull the appliance or cable to remove the plug from the socket.
Do not touch the iron plate when it is on or immediately after it is turned off.
Leave to cool for at least 30 minutes before putting the appliance away.
Do not hang the product using the power cable.
Do not leave the appliance exposed to atmospheric agents (rain, sun).
Disconnect from the power socket when the appliance is not in use and before any
cleaning or maintenance.
The power cable must be entirely unrolled to avoid overheating.
Never wind the power cable around the appliance.
The power cable must not be placed near heat sources and/or sharp surfaces.
If the power cable is damaged, have qualified staff replace it.
In the event of a fault and/or malfunctioning, switch off the appliance and contact qualified staff.
Any tampering or intervention carried out by unqualified staff will cause the warranty
to expire.
To clean the appliance only use a soft, dry and non-abrasive cloth.
When the appliance can no longer be used and you want to dispose of it, remove the cables and dispose of them via a qualified body to avoid contaminating the environment.
Periodically check the appliance and its parts are working properly; if in doubt contact
an authorised support centre.
- Do not pull the power cable to move the appliance.
- The user must not leave the appliance unsupervised when connected to power.
- Do not use the appliance if not working properly or it appears to be damaged; if in
doubt contact qualified staff.
- It is strictly forbidden to dismantle or repair the appliance due to danger of electric
shock; if necessary, contact your retailer or support centre.
- The appliance must not be used with external timers or other, separate devices with
remote control.
- The power cable plug, since it is used as a disconnection device, must always be within easy reach.
Do NOT spray hairspray with the appliance on. Danger of fire exists.
The appliance should only be used on human hair. Do not use on animals, wigs or toupees made of synthetic material.
Do not use the metal straightening irons near the skin when in use, it is dangerous.
• If the product contains glass parts, they are not covered by the warranty.

The plastic parts of the product are not covered by the warranty.

Damage to the power cable, due to wear, is not covered by the warranty; any repairs
are therefore the responsibility of the owner.

If necessary, bring or send the appliance to the authorised support centre, you are advised to clean all its parts carefully.
If the appliance is even slightly dirty or with encrustation or scale deposits, dust or
otherwise, externally or internally: for hygiene-sanitary reasons, the support centre
will refuse the appliance without inspecting it.
