To drain the water heater, disconnect power for the water pump, open hot water taps, and open the safety/drain valve. The water heater will drain directly to the outside via the drain valve. Check that the water contents have been completely drained (10 liters or 14 liters).
The operating pressure for the gas supply is 2.75 kPa (AUS – Propane, NZ – LPG).
Always remove the cowl cover before operating the water heater. Open the gas cylinder and the stop cock valve in the gas supply line. Switch on the water heater at the switch on the control panel.
The red indicator lamp lights up if there is a failure. To unlock, switch off the appliance, wait 10 minutes, and switch on again.
To operate the electrical heating element, insert the plug into the socket and then turn it on with the switch. The electric heating element is operational when you can see the mark on the switch.
