Thank you for using Qingping Temp & RH Monitor T.
Desktop Mode
By opening the back cover halfway (at the angle of 45° to the body), Qingping Temp & RH
Monitor T can be placed on the desktop:
* Please avoid placing the product on surfaces of suede or particles to prevent the vent
hole at the bottom of the product from being clogged and resulting in inaccurate
measurement.
If the screen doesn't display anything, the battery needs to be replaced.
* After removing the battery, the content may still be displayed on the screen, it's normal.
The product uses an e-ink screen, the content displayed on it can be kept for a while
without power supply.
Insert or Replace Battery
Qingping Temp & RH Monitor T uses a CR2430 button cell.
Fully open the back cover (at an angle of 90° to the body), and then hold the battery
cover with both thumbs and push it counterclockwise to unscrew the battery cover:

There is a wall sticker in the package, and the double-sided tap is stuck on the back of it:

Performance Faults
Connect to "Home"
The content displayed on the screen is incomplete or the screen cannot
display content.
No response when the button is pressed.
The sensor is not working properly.
Remove the film of the double-sided tape, stick the wall sticker to your selected position,
and then attach Qingping Temp & RH Monitor T:
Open the Home app on your iOS or iPadOS device, and tap "+", then select "Add or Scan
Accessory", and then follow the instructions the app shows.
* If failed to add, please reset this product and try again. Please refer to "Reset Factory
Settings" of this manual.
Use of the Works with Apple badge means that an accessory has been designed to work
specifically with the technology identified in the badge and has been certified by the
developer to meet Apple performance standards. Apple is not responsible for the
operation of this device or its compliance with safety and regulatory standards.
Connect to "Qingping+"
You can also use the mobile app "Qingping+" to connect this product, to view the
readings, access the historical data, and upgrade the firmware, etc.

After installing the app, please open it and add a device, select "Qingping Temp & RH
Monitor T", and then follow the instructions the app shows.
* If you have added your Qingping Temp & RH Monitor T in Home app, then it will appear
in Qingping+ app automatically, no need to add again.
* While Qingping+ app is opened and connected to your Qingping Temp & RH Monitor T,
it will sync the 30-day historical data automatically.
* This product doesn't support connecting to Android devices.

The temperature that a human body perceives depends on many factors such as air
temperature, relative humidity, wind velocity, physical activity and condition, or even the
clothes worn.
In winter, the human body feels more comfortable when the temperature is between
20 ~ 24°C while the humidity is between 30 ~ 60%; in summer, the range is respectively
23 ~ 26°C and 25 ~ 60%.

Warranty
In the countries and regions where Qingping Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. has
established branches or after-sales service centers, we provide a 1-year limited warranty
service for the locally sold Qingping Temp & RH Monitor T. The warranty service terms
are:
1. Within 7 days from the date of the receipt, if the product has faults listed in the
“Performance Faults”, after the faults are confirmed by our after-sales service
department, the customer can have a refund or a replacement the product for free.
2. From the 8th to the 15th day after the receipt, if the product has faults listed in the
“Performance Faults”, after the faults are confirmed by our after-sales service
department, the customer can have a replacement or repair service for free.
3. Within 12 months from the date of receipt, if the product has faults listed in the
“Performance Faults”, after the faults are confirmed by our after-sales service
department, the customer can have the maintenance service for free.
In countries or regions where Qingping Technology (Beijing) Co., Ltd. has not established
a branch or after-sales service center, please contact the local seller if you have any
quality problems.
Do not block the vent hole on the bottom of the product.
This product is not waterproof or dustproof.
Do not use in an environment with humidity greater than 90% for a long
time.
Do not throw the battery or the product with the battery into the fire to
avoid an explosion.
Do not disassemble the product by yourself to avoid injury.
Question/Problem Answer/Solution
1. When the environment changes drastically, for example,
after just moved from outdoor to indoors, it needs about 10
minutes for the readings to approach the actual values of
the new environment.
2. When the product is held in hand, the temperature of the
human body will effect the readings, resulting in difference
between the readings and the actual values of the
environment.
3. Check if the vent hole at the bottom of the product is
clogged. If it is clogged, please clean it carefully, and avoid
damaging the sensor.

Thread Mode and Bluetooth Mode
Usually, this product will automatically connect to the home hub via Thread. If it is not
connected, you can press the button on the back of the product to make it try
connecting the home hub:
Switch the Temperature Unit
The temperature unit displayed on the product's screen can be switched between
Celsius (°C) and Fahrenheit (°F).
Restore Factory Settings
Press and hold the button on the back of the product, and release after the screen
displays "188", and then wait for the product return to display correct temperature and
humidity readings, which means that the restoration of factory settings has been
completed.
Press the button on the back of the product to switch the temperature unit, and let it try
to connect to the home hub via Thread.
* "Home Hub" refers to Apple Home Hub devices, such as HomePod, HomePod mini,
Apple TV (fourth generation or newer models); Some home hub devices have Thread
connection capability, such as HomePod mini, Apple TV 4K second generation, and
Apple TV 4K third generation with Ethernet port.
Apple Home, HomePod, HomePod mini, and Apple TV are trademarks of Apple Inc.,
registered in the U.S. and other countries and regions.
If the home hub has no Thread, the product will work in Bluetooth mode.
When working in Thread mode, the screen displays the Thread icon:
