Before you begin, remove the cover.

1 Release the locking tab and disconnect the hard drive power cable from the connector on the logic board.
2 Disconnect the hard drive data cable from the connector on the logic board.

Take Apart Hard Drive - 4
3 Release the two plastic latches on one side of the hard drive and lift the drive slightly. Repeat on the other side of the drive and remove the drive (with carrier) from the computer.
