Notifier AM2020 Fire Panel

The Notifier panel requires a serial interface board in order to function. The SIB-232 or SIB-2048A may be used.

1.2.1

Connecting the Fire Panel

The serial interface board is used to connect to the printer serial port (pins 1, 2, and 4 on P3) on the fire panel.

• Pin 1 is EIA-232 Reference.

• Pin 2 is Transmit to PRN.

• Pin 4 is Receive from PRN.

A DB-25 or DB-9 cable may also be used. Connect the pins as follows:
