This chapter provides instructions to troubleshoot system problems that you might encounter when using Microsoft
®
Windows Server
®
2008. If you are experiencing the same problem as listed in this chapter, perform the resolution first before you contact your sales agent. If your system still does not operate normally, provide your sales agent with the error messages on the screen.

The Memory (RAM) shows the total capacity of mounted memory when you select
Start - Control Panel - System.
Similarly, the Installed Physical Memory (RAM) shows the total capacity of mounted memory when you select Start - All Program - Accessories - System Tools - System
Information.

To know the physical memory currently available on the system, select Windows Task
Manager - Performance - Physical Memory(MB) - Total.
