POWER ON/OFF
This chapter explains how to switch your sonar system on and off.
WARNING
Before you start: Make sure that the water depth below the keel is sufficient to lower the transducer!
How to switch on the sonar
Observe the following procedure.

Press the Power button on the colour display monitor.
Press the Power button (A) on the Sonar Control Panel, and keep it depressed for approximately two seconds.
• A green lamp will flash to indicated that the power has been switched on, and that the computer is starting up.
After a short period (approximately 2 minutes) you will see the sonar picture on the display.
Press the Down button (D) on the control panel to lower the transducer.
• The transducer will stop automatically when it has been lowered to its full length. The dialogue at the bottom right corner of the display will tell you when the transducer has been fully lowered.
• By default the transmit power is disabled when the sonar is powered up. This is for safety reasons. In the menu, you will see that the Transmit power button flashes to remind you of this.
Set Transmit power to On.
