HOW TO LOCATE YOUR PET

Track Your Pet

When your pet leaves the Tagg zone, you can turn on the Track feature. The system will update your pet’s location about every 3 minutes over a 30-minute period. You will receive a notification for each new location, and it will be updated on the Tagg map. If you still haven’t found your pet after 30 minutes, you can start another tracking session. See the chart below.

Note: You must turn on tracking for each pet. Your pet can only have one tracking session in progress at a time. To start a new tracking session, the current session must be completed.

Using the Tagg Website

• Open the Tagg Map

Using Text Messages

• Make sure you have opted-in for text message notifications under Notification Settings on the Tagg website.

• Click the LOCATe button on your pet’s status bar. A single location will be given for your pet.

• Text “LOCATe” to 52366

• If you have more than one pet, text “LOCATe PeTNAMe”.

Click TRACk under your pet’s status bar. The green dot indicates that tracking is on:

TRACk button again. The dot will return to gray:

• You’ll receive a text with your pet’s location.

• Text “Track” to 52366

• You can text “TRACk

PeTNAMe” to track all of your pets. Example: Track Skipper

• In approximately 3 minutes, you’ll receive a text with an updated location for your pet(s).

• Text “TRACk OFF” to stop tracking.

IMPORTANT: If you text STOP to 52366 you will stop receiving all Tagg notifications (e.g., alerts and updates) to your registered mobile phone. If you want to restart Tagg text notifications, you will need to opt-in for text messages on notification’s setting page.
