(the appliance must first be fitted with the Miele|home Communication module)
This communication enabled dishwasher can transmit programme data through the power lines to the
Miele|home system. The dishwasher must be signed on to the Miele|home system.
Please read the separate operating instructions supplied with the
Miele|home system before you sign on the dishwasher.
Signing on
If signing on is unsuccessful:
^ Check that the Miele|home system is active.
^ Activate the signing on of a new appliance on the Miele|home system.
^ Repeat the signing on process on the dishwasher.
Signing off
You can sign off the dishwasher if you no longer want the programme data to be transmitted.
^ Select the option to sign off from
Miele|home and confirm with the OK button.

^ Press the OK button to confirm that the dishwasher should be signed on to the Miele|home system.
The signing on process will begin.

You can cancel the signing on process with Cancel .
^ Confirm the messages in the display with the OK button.

Synchronising the time of day
(the appliance must first be signed on to the Miele|home system)
If your dishwasher is fitted with a
Miele|home communication module and you have signed it on to the
Miele|home system, the time of day in the dishwasher display will be automatically updated to match the time on the Miele|home system.
You can turn this feature off if you want to set time on your dishwasher to be different from the time on the
Miele|home system.
^ Select the Time option and confirm with the OK button.

^ Select the Synchronise menu option and confirm with the OK button.
^ Choose the option you want and confirm your selection with the OK button.
When you switch the function on, the time of day from the Miele|home system will be adopted automatically.
You can alter the time of day again if you switch the option off or sign the dishwasher off from the Miele|home system.
Remote control

(the appliance must first be signed on to the Miele|home system)
If your dishwasher is signed on to the
Miele|home system, you can alter settings or start a programme by remote control.
The dishwasher is delivered with this function deactivated.

^ Choose the option you want and confirm your selection with the OK button.
The "PC" indicator will light up when the remote control function has been activated.
Once a programme, which you started by remote control, is finished, you must then run a programme using the Start button on the appliance before you can use the remote control function again.
