You can also use MASTER VOLUME on the receiver.
To mute the sound
Press MUTING.
The muting function will be canceled when you do the following.
• Press MUTING again.
• Increase the volume.
• Turn off the receiver.
To avoid damaging your speakers
Before you turn off the receiver, be sure to turn down the volume level.

Turn on the Super Audio CD player/CD player, then place the disc on the tray.

Turn on the receiver.

Press SA-CD/CD.
You can also use INPUT SELECTOR on the receiver to select “SA-CD/CD”.

Playback the disc.

Adjust to a suitable volume.

After you have finished listening to the
Super Audio CD/CD, eject the disc and turn off the receiver and Super Audio CD player/

Switch the input of the TV so that an image of the DVD is displayed.
If no image is displayed on the TV screen, make sure that the video output of the DVD player is connected to the TV.

Set up the DVD player.
Refer to “Quick Setup Guide” supplied with the receiver.

Playback the disc.

Adjust to a suitable volume.

After you have finished watching the DVD, eject the disc and turn off the receiver, TV and DVD player.
