Chapter 7 Maintenance
The Wraptor requires periodic maintenance to ensure trouble-free operation. The system uses the Cycle count to determine when maintenance is required. A maintenance reminder dialog is displayed when the cycle interval is reached.
7.1 Cleaning
Perform the following cleaning routine when prompted to do so or at least every 5,000 labels to keep the
Wraptor running at optimal performance. The unit comes with a cleaning kit which includes an applicator bottle and narrow cotton swabs. Fill the bottle with isopropyl alcohol (not included) and follow these instructions to clean the wrapper surface, printhead, rollers, and sensors.
7.1.1 Before You Begin
Prior to performing any cleaning or maintenance on the Wraptor, you must perform the following steps:
1. Press the Load Labels button on the Setup tab menu. This shuttles the printer to the “shuttle-back” position.
