Recording
Recording can be started by pushing one button when the Main screen is open.

Press .
This starts video recording.
During video recording, the REC LED above the lens lights red.

Press again to stop video recording.

If the transfer speed to the card is not fast enough during video recording, “Low Speed Card!” appears on the screen and recording might stop. To avoid this, we recommend using cards that are Class
10 or faster. Information about SD cards that can be used with this unit is provided at www.zoom.
co.jp.
Use the RECORDING MODE menu to make specific video recording settings. (See "Recording mode settings" on page 25.)

The X/Y technique will become active, and the mic indicator on the LCD will change to XY.
How do I use the A/B mic technique on the Zoom Q4n?
To use the A/B mic technique, slide the mic slider on the back of the Q4n up until it locks and then rotate both mics outward until they are fixed in place. The A/B technique will become active, and the mic indicator on the LCD will change to AB.
How do I open the file list on the Zoom Q4n?
To open the file list, press the Menu button, select the File List icon, and then press the OK button.
How do I delete recordings on the Zoom Q4n?
To delete recordings, open the file list, select the file you want to delete, press the Menu button, select the Delete File option, and then press the OK button.
