Straight Stitch
q Stitch pattern: 00 or 01 w Needle thread tension: 2 to 6 e Presser foot: Zigzag foot A
For seaming garments, zipper application and more.
Pattern 01 is used for seaming fine fabrics.

Lock-a-Matic Stitch
q Stitch pattern: 02 w Needle thread tension: 2 to 6 e Presser foot: r Reverse button
Zigzag foot A
Use this stitch to secure the beginning and the end of a seam with backstitching.
When you reach the end of the seam, press the reverse stitch button r once. The machine will sew four reverse stitches, four forward stitches, and then stop sewing automatically.
Locking Stitch
q Stitch pattern: 03 w Needle thread tension: 2 to 6 e Presser foot: r Reverse button
Zigzag foot A
This unique stitch is used where an invisible locking stitch is needed.
Lower the needle close to the front edge of the fabric.
The machine will sew several locking stitches in place and continue sewing forward.
When you press the reverse stitch button r at the end of the seam, the machine will sew several locking stitches in place, then stop sewing automatically.
Triple Stretch Stitch
q Stitch pattern: 04 w Needle thread tension: 2 to 6 e Presser foot: Zigzag foot A

This strong, durable stitch is recommended when both elasticity and strength are necessary in order to insure comfort and durability. Use it to reinforce areas such as crotch and armhole seams. Also use for extra reinforcement when constructing items such as backpacks.
