Troubleshooting
Problem
The starter does not crank.
The engine overheats.
The machine does not drive.
The engine will not start, starts hard, or fails to keep running.
The engine loses power.
Possible Cause Corrective Action
1. The blade control (PTO) knob is engaged.
2. The parking brake is not on.
3. The battery is dead.
4. The electrical connections are corroded or loose.
5. A fuse is blown.
6. A relay or switch is damaged.
1. Move the blade control (PTO) knob to the Disengaged position.
