Ricoh MP 2501SP is a multifunctional device that can copy, fax, print, and scan documents. It also has a document server and a web image monitor. With its various functions, Ricoh MP 2501SP can help you save paper, convert documents to electronic formats, register destinations, and operate the machine more effectively. You can also customize the [Home] screen, make copies using various functions, print data using various functions, utilize stored documents, send and receive faxes without paper, send and receive faxes via the Internet, send and receive faxes by using the machine without fax unit installed, use the facsimile and the scanner in a network environment, prevent information leakage (security functions), monitor and set the machine using a computer, and prevent unauthorized copying.

Turning On/Off the Power
Turning On/Off the Power
The main power switch is on the left side of the machine. When this switch is turned on, the main power turns on and the main power indicator on the right side of the control panel lights up. When this switch is turned off, the main power turns off and the main power indicator on the right side of the control panel goes out. When this is done, machine power is off. When the fax unit is installed, fax files in memory may be lost if you turn this switch off. Use this switch only when necessary.

• Do not turn off the main power switch immediately after turning it on. Doing so may result in damage to the hard disk or memory, leading to malfunctions.

Turning Off the Main Power
• When disconnecting the power cord from the wall outlet, always pull the plug, not the cord.
Pulling the cord can damage the power cord. Use of damaged power cords could result in fire or electric shock.
• After turning the machine's power off, wait at least a few seconds before turning it back on. If the message "Turn main Power Switch off" appears, turn the machine's power off, and wait until the main power switch indicator turns off. After the main power switch indicator is turned off, wait 10
