Replacing the keyboard

Procedure

Steps

1. Slide the keyboard cable and the keyboard-backlight cable into their connectors on the system board and press down on the latches to secure the cables.

2. Carefully turn the keyboard over, slide the tabs on the keyboard into the slots on the palm-rest assembly, and snap the keyboard into place.

3. Close the display and turn the computer over.
