Rotating the monitor (optional)

Your LCD monitor also supports portrait viewing orientation, allowing you to fit your specific desktop application without needing to scroll down.

Before rotating the display with a portrait viewing orientation, please install the Visual Optimizer software from the attached CD first.

With Visual Optimizer, you can send commands directly from your PC to the monitor. When the

Enable Auto Pivot function is activated, the images displayed on the screen will be automatically rotated to fit the screen orientation.

Using the Display Data Channel Command Interface (DDC/CI) protocol, Visual Optimizer is a software utility that allows you to make monitor adjustments and color tuning to the display with a couple of mouse clicks instead of using the monitor on-screen display (OSD). To have Visual Optimizer normally operated with the monitor, please ensure that the connected graphic card on your computer supports the VESA

DDC/CI standard.

For more information about Visual Optimizer , click the Help button, , to view its online help.

To install the Visual Optimizer software

1. Execute VO Setup.exe from the folder named Visual Optimizer on the attached CD.

2. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

If you see the monitor blacking out for a second or two when the installation is about to finish, it’s normal as the software is detecting the connection status with the monitor.

3. After restarting your system, click the Visual Optimizer icon, , in the system tray to launch the software.

4. Under the Options tab, choose Enable Auto Pivot from the Pivot menu.
