The power grid stability varies in different regions. Therefore, it is recommended that the user should choose a voltage regulator with high quality and performance, such as an on-line UPS.
The system uses a three-wire power cable, and the protection ground terminal of the plug must be connected to the protection ground phase of the power supply system. Make sure the protection ground of the power supply system functions properly.
Connect the system to a power outlet with a separate fuse and circuit breaker. If the system shares the same fuse and circuit breaker with other devices (such as life support devices), the circuit breaker may be tripped in the case of a system failure, overcurrent, or inrush current upon system startup.

EMI
The ultrasound system is susceptible to electromagnetic interference (EMI) from radio signals and strong magnetic fields, and it produces weak electromagnetic radiation. Before installing the system, check for possible EMI sources and keep the system away from strong magnetic fields to prevent EMI.

Possible EMI sources include scanners, medical lasers, monitors, mobile phones, and cautery units. In addition, radio transceivers, radio-controlled toys, and other devices that may radiate high-frequency radio waves cannot be used in the same room as the system. If such devices are available in the room, turn them off to ensure the proper operation of the system.

The system supports wireless data transmission and therefore can be moved between departments or areas. It can reconnect to a mobile network automatically after disconnection from the network and resume the previous data transmission task after the reconnection. 1 Before unpacking the device, check whether the package is intact. If the outer package is damaged, take pictures as evidence.
2 Check whether the unpacked device is intact. If any damage is found, contact the Mindray branch or headquarters immediately and keep the evidence.
3 Unpack the device in a spacious place and check the items in the package against the packing list.
The device must be inspected in the presence of physicians from the ultrasound department and personnel from the equipment department or other personnel authorized by the hospital.
The person in charge of product acceptance needs to sign on the packing list after verifying that the items in the package are consistent with those on the packing list.
The product will be considered non-conforming in any of the following cases:
˗ The package is damaged during transportation.
˗ Wrong labels are found on the device.
˗ Discrepancies are found between the packing list and product configuration stipulated in the contract.
˗ Some parts or accessories on the packing list are not found in the package.

Clamp the plastic buckle on one side of the wall clamp from both sides to the middle by hand, and pull the buckles outward at the same time. Pull all the four buckles out of the wall clamp and take the wall clamp off after releasing it.

1.2.2
Transporting the Main Unit
Transport in a car
The main unit is at least 1000 mm high, 550 mm wide, and at least 1020 mm deep, with the total weight of 105 kg. Note the following requirements when you transport the main unit in a car: a The trunk or other location reserved for the main unit in the car must be larger than the minimum size of the main unit. b Before moving the main unit into the car, remove the probes from the main unit and place them in a safe place. c Hold down the unlocking handle and push the control panel down and backward to minimize the height and depth of the main unit. d The main unit needs to be lifted to the car by 2–4 people, who support the left and right sides of the main unit base, keeping the handle vertical to the ground. e Secure the main unit in the car with ropes or other materials. Do not lock the casters with the brake pedal, as doing so may damage the gears inside the casters.
Use red foam to secure the monitor and bind it to the main unit with a rope to prevent it from shaking.
Bind the four ends of ropes to load bearing points in the car to prevent the main unit from moving in the car.

Transport in an elevator
Make sure the elevator door is more than 550 mm wide so that the main unit can be moved in.

Installing the Device
Procedure:
1.
Connect the power cable to the power socket at the rear bottom of the ultrasound device.
2.
Put down the lock hook of the power cable, and press the lock hook to make it fix the power cable.
3.
Connect the plug at the other end of the power cable to a power outlet. Ensure that the ground terminal of the plug is connected to the protection ground wire in the power outlet.

NOTICE: Maintain sufficient slack of the power cable to prevent the power plug from disconnecting from the outlet when the device is moved over a short distance. If the power plug is disconnected unexpectedly, the examination data will be lost.
The storage box can be installed on the left, right or back of the host based on customer requirements.

Before connecting a probe, make sure the probe, probe cable, and probe connector are free from cracks or peeling surface. Using a defective probe may result in an electric shock to the patient.
1 Keep the probe connector facing down, align the connector with the probe socket, and push it carefully into the socket, as shown in the following figure.
2 Turn the probe locking lever to the left to lock the probe connector.
3 Route the probe cable in an appropriate place to protect it from trampling. Make sure the cable is not twisted with other objects. Place the probe head in a safe place to protect it from collisions.

If a probe socket is left vacant for a long time, cover it with a dust cover taken from the accessory box to prevent dust accumulation, which will lead to bad contact between the probe connector and socket.

Tilt the monitor
When positioned vertically, the monitor can be tilted 20° backward or bent forward to the horizontal position. Keep the monitor in the horizontal position when the device is transported in the packing box or moved on the way.
Lock the monitor
If the ultrasound system needs to be moved to another room not far away, position the monitor horizontally and push it into the locking structure. You can follow the graphic illustration attached to the support arm to complete the operation.

Proper display brightness and contrast settings can remove the need to frequently adjustment the gain,
TGC, dynamic range, and even the output power.
Adjust the brightness:
Press F10 Setup and choose System > General > LCD . In the Brightness area on the touch screen, tap to reduce the display brightness or to increase the display brightness.
Adjust the contrast:
Press F10 Setup and choose System > General > LCD . In the Contrast area on the touch screen, tap to reduce the contrast or to increase the contrast.
Select Brightness auto adjustment to enable the system to adjust the brightness and contrast of the touch screen in adaption to the environmental conditions.
NOTICE: Adjust the brightness and then the contrast. After adjusting the brightness and contrast, modify the image parameter settings accordingly.

Clear and sharp images should be displayed, in which the characters and words are clearly identifiable, without any sticking image, blurriness, or inconsistent effects.

Bad points Press Set to display the pure green, blue, red, black, and white screens sequentially. Observe the LCD monitor. Count the bright and dark spots on the black and white screens. Expected results: 1. There is no bright spot. 2. There are no more than three pairs of contiguous dark spots and no contiguous dark spots in the image area. 3. Three or more contiguous dark spots are not found.
4. There are no more than seven dark spots in total and no more than two dark spots in the image area. 5. No flashing spots are found. 6. The distance between points of failure is greater than or equal to 5 mm.
4 Tap OK on the touch screen or press ESC on the keypad to return to the Test Main Monitor screen.
NOTICE: Do not use the system under strong light because it may affect the display on the touch screen. To ensure proper operation of the touch screen, do not place any object on the touch screen.

Adjust the position of the control panel
Turn the control panel adjusting dial rod along the arrow direction. The control panel can be turned

As shown in the following figure, a graphic printer has a power cable and a data cable. The power cable plug must be directly connected to a well grounded power outlet.

Perform the following steps to install the printer on a Windows operating system:
1 Connect the data cable of the printer to the USB port of the ultrasound device.
2 Connect the power cable of the printer to a power outlet, and then turn on the ultrasound device and the printer.
3 Press F10 Setup , choose Maintenance > Setup , click Enter Windows , and enter the password.

4 Copy the printer driver from an external storage device to a local disk.

1 Before adding a local printer, make sure the printer has been powered on and properly connected to the ultrasound device (indicated by a USB recognition audio prompt).

Set the printing service
A graphic printer can print reports or images.
˗ Set the default printer for report printing and the printing properties as follows:
Choose Setup > Print to display the printing service list. Select Report Print in the service list, select the printer that you want to configure from the Printer drop-down list, set report printing properties in the Property section, and then click Save .
For more information about the printer, refer to the user manual of the printer.
The system can work with a black-and-white or color digital video printer.
1 Place the printer in an appropriate position.
2 Connect the power cable of the printer to a power outlet and connect the printer to the ultrasonic system with a USB cable.
3 Fill the printer with printing paper, and turn on the ultrasound system and printer.
4 Set the printing service: a Choose Setup > Print to display the printing service screen. b Click Add Service to display the following dialog box.
Installation c Select a printing service type from the drop-down list and enter the service name. d Click OK . e Select the printer in the Property section and set the printing parameters. f Click OK to complete the settings.

The system can connect to a wireless graphic printer to print reports.
Perform the following steps:
1 Connect the power cable of the printer to an appropriate power outlet.
2 Turn on the ultrasound system and the printer.
3 Connect the system and printer to the same network and enable Wi-Fi for the printer.
4 On the printing service setting screen, select the wireless printer and set the printing parameters.
A barcode connector can be connected to the ultrasound system to record patient ID and other information.
1 As shown in the following figure, key parts of a barcode scanner include an LED indicator, a scan window, and a scan trigger switch.

2 Connect one end of the scanner cable to the socket at the bottom of the scanner handle.
3 Connect the other end of the cable (USB terminal) to a USB port of the ultrasound system.
4 When the ultrasound system is running, the operator can press the scan trigger switch to scan barcodes (no driver required). For other operations on the scanner, refer to its user manual.

NOTICE: If the barcode scanner does not work, check whether it is configured correctly, for example, whether its Enter key is configured. For details, refer to the user manual of the barcode scanner.
5 Place the connected scanner on the smart stand (as shown in the figure) to prevent the scanner from falling.

The system can be connected to an ultrasound workstation, such as Mindray ultrasound image management system DS-88 or Greenlander workstation.
Perform the following steps:
1 Using the S-Video signal cable: Connect the S-Video signal cable from the ultrasound workstation to the S-Video interface of the main unit. Then, images can be captured on the ultrasound workstation. For details, refer to the user manual of the ultrasound workstation.
2 Using the standalone PACS mode: Assign an IP address on the same network segment as the workstation to the ultrasound system. Choose Setup > DICOM/HL7 > Storage and enter the AE title, port number, and other information of the ultrasound workstation. After the ultrasound workstation passes the test, the main unit can send images to the ultrasound workstation.

The system supports remote ultrasound examination through the UltraSync system. For details about the configuration of the UltraSync system, refer to the user manual of the UltraSync system.
1.2.6
Setting System Software
1 Connect the power plug of the ultrasound system to an AC power outlet and verify that the peripherals are connected to the system correctly. The system can also be powered by a battery (if available). You can touch the handle on the right side in front of the control panel to check the remaining battery power.

2 Press the power switch in the upper left corner of the control panel to turn on the system.
After the system starts, the Doppler screen appears.
After the system starts, it performs initialization (taking about 30s) and displays the Doppler screen, as shown in the following figure.

After the fourth installment is paid, the system will no longer display the installment dialog box upon startup. d Pay-off password: used when the user pays the rest amount at one time.
If the user chooses to pay the rest amount ahead of schedule: Choose Setup > Maintenance >
Setup > Prepay Installment , select Pay Off in the Periods field, enter the pay-off password, and click OK . Then, the installment dialog box will no longer appear.
If the user chooses to pay the rest amount on the due date: The system displays the installment dialog box upon startup. The user needs to enter the pay-off password and click Start to log in to the system. Then, the installment dialog box will no longer appear. e Global password: protects the installment plan from tampering.
NOTICE: The global password is displayed only once and therefore must be kept safely. If you forget the global password, you will be unable to log in to the system as the Service user after setting the installment plan and restarting the system.
3 Click Reset , you can reset the installment parameters. Reset the number of installments in the
Periods drop-down list, and reset the installment interval in the Days drop-down list. Click
Generate and select Display Password , and the system will generate a new installment password.
4 Connect to the USB device, click Save As , select the storage directory, and click OK to save the password, as shown in the figure below.

5 Restart the machine, select Service Entry, enter the global password, and click Login. The account login dialog box pops up. Enter the password of the customer service account, and click Login.
The system automatically enters the Doppler interface.

Installment, enter the global password in the pop-up dialog box, and click Login. The system automatically enters the installment setup interface.
7 Check the installment password.

If there is patient data in the system, the system displays a prompt to clear the data. In this case, follow the following steps to complete the setting:
Click OK to return to the setting interface, and click Wipe. According to the prompts on the screen, clear the patient's data, choose User Define > OK, enter the password, and click OK to complete the setting.
To restore factory settings, follow the steps above. The password is still a custom password and you do not need to set it again.
The password does not support input multi-language or Chinese characters.
3 Enable the antivirus function.
The system provides two types of anti-virus software: Windows Defender and McAfee software, which protects the machine from viruses, spyware, and other malicious software.
Windows Defender is pre-installed on the system.
McAfee is optional. If the McAfee software is installed, the interface will prompt "McAfee is on".
To purchase the software, contact the Mindray customer service representative.
The McAfee software cannot be uninstalled after installation.
After installing the McAfee software, disable the fast boot function to prevent McAfee from not working properly. Choose Setup > Maintenance > Setup, and clear the Fast
Startup checkbox.
If McAfee is not normally installed due to a power outage, shutdown, closing of the cmd.exe window, or other abnormal operation during installation, contact the customer service engineer or your agent.
After installing the optional software, the system will restart. McAfee will be installed automatically after the reboot, and the installation take about an hour.
To configure the environment for the mobile platform, use mobile devices such as a mobile phone or a tablet computer. For details on how to set the platform, refer to the MedTouch/MedSight user manual.
You can configure the ultrasound system so as to transmit data to the UltraView offline software. For details about instructions, see the UltraView offline software manual.

Locate the dust-proof net handle on the upper part of the cover and pull out the dust-proof net. b) Clean the dust-proof net: Gently brush off the dust from dust-proof net with a soft brush. c) Install the dust-proof net: Install the dust-proof net by performing operations in reserve order of the dust-proof net removal procedure, and reinstall the front cover assembly back to the cover.
Clean all the dust-proof nets of the machine regularly (once a month), otherwise it is easy to cause damage to the machine. When the machine is used outdoors or in other dusty places, increase the cleaning frequency.
Tools: dry soft cloth, water or mild soapsuds
Method: Directly use a dry soft cloth to clean the surface of the display and touch screen. If there is still a stain, dip a dry soft cloth with a little water or mild soapsuds to wipe and then air dry the display.
The trackball is a human-computer interaction component. It is easy for the trackball to bring dust from the outside into the module during use. Therefore, regular maintenance is needed to ensure the system performance. When the cursor control is not flexible, it may be caused by dust pollution inside the trackball. In this case, remove the trackball and clean the dust inside.

Method: Use a dry soft cloth to wipe the dust from the surface of the control panel (including keys and encoder). Or, dip a soft cloth with a small amount of mild soapsuds to scrub away stubborn stains, and then use another soft cloth to dry or air dry the control panel. If it is difficult to clean the control panel, remove the encoder cap and clean the control panel with mild soapsuds.
Clean the control panel and keyboard regularly; otherwise the dirt in the gaps between keys will jam the keys, causing long beeping of the buzzer and malfunction of keys.

Method: a) Use a dry soft cloth to wipe off the dust on the head of the probe, connector housing, and cable. b) Use a soft brash to generally remove the dust on the probe connector terminal. c) If there are still stubborn stains, dip a dry soft cloth with a little mild soapsuds to wipe off dust or stains on the surface of the probe cable or connector housing, and then air dry them.
Do not wipe the probe connector using a wet cloth.

Method: a) Use a dry soft cloth to wipe the dust inside and outside the probe/medical ultrasound couplant holder and the gap of the holder. For the small cavity probe holder or gap, use a soft brush to gently brush off the dust and stains from the inner layer. b) If there are still stubborn stains, you can remove the holder, dip a dry soft cloth with a small amount of mild soapsuds to wipe off the stains attached to the external or internal layer of the holder, air dry the holder, and the install the holder. c) Medical ultrasound couplant heating cup: Disconnect the power cord of medical ultrasound couplant heating cup, remove the heating cup, dip a dry soft cloth with a small amount of soapy water to clean the inside and outside of the heating cup, use a soft brush to clean the dust in the holes at the bottom, dip a dry soft cloth with a small amount of soapy water to remove the residual stains, air dry the heating cup, and then install it.

b) Press the snap-fits of the bottom arm in the directions indicated by the arrows to remove the bottom cover. c) Use a soft cloth dipped in soapy water or water to gently wipe the heater surface and the connection cable. d) Remove the bottom cover for cleaning.
Avoid liquid flowing into the gap of the heater. Do not use organic solvent to scrub the heater. Turn on and use the heater only after its surface is fully dried.
Do not use strong solvent such as acetone. It is prohibited to use rough materials (such as steel velvet) to clean the surface of the heater.
Clean the bottom cover of the heater regularly. Remove the bottom cover during cleaning.
After cleaning, re-install the bottom cover at the bottom of the heater after its surface is dried.

Method: Use a dry soft cloth to wipe the dirt off the machine shell (the exposed part). Or, use with a dry soft cloth dipped in a small amount of mild soapsuds to remove stains, and air dry the shell.

Clean peripherals according to the actual conditions of the optional peripherals, and omit items that are not configured.

Mechanical safety inspection mainly focuses on the mechanical strength and mechanical function of key components of the ultrasound system. The main inspection and evaluation methods include visual inspection and operation inspection. If the inspection result fails to pass and proves that the system is in an abnormal state, stop the system and take appropriate measures. The inspection process is as follows:

Entering the Windows
Open the password making website (http://ukmo.mindray.com/), log in to the system, click the Make
Pwd icon, and enter the following password making interface.
1 After entering the correct MAC address and serial number of the machine (refer to the system information), click Make Pwd to generate the password to allow the machine with the corresponding MAC address to enter the Windows operating system.
2 Enter the maintenance menu, click Enter Windows , and enter the generated password in the popup dialog box to enter the Windows operating system.
2.4.4 Importing the configuration file after the SSD is replaced
After replacing the SSD of the I9 series, it is required to import the configuration file to enter the ultrasound application at the first time powerup. The steps are as follows.
1. Before replacing the SSD, contact Mindray service engineer to download the configuration file from Mindray's internal platform.
2. On a computer, unzip the file obtained from Mindray to a USB flash drive and confirm the
“ Config.key
” file is included.
3. After replacing the SSD, Insert the USB flash drive into a USB port on the device. The system will prompt to import the product configuration file on startup.

How to check the Windows10 activation status:
Check the activation status of Windows10 on the system information interface.
Sometimes, the update of the Windows10 activation status may be delayed on the system information interface. In this case, you can go to Windows and check the activation status. For specific operation methods, refer to steps 1-4 in the following section "Online activation".
If the machine is not automatically activated after it is connected to the Internet, you need to manually activate the Windows10 operating system. There are two manual activation method: online activation and telephone activation.
Make sure the ultrasound machine is connected to the Internet.
1 After logging in the system as Service, press F10 Setup , choose Maintenance → Setup , click
Enter Windows , and enter the password.
For details about how to obtain a password, see "2.4.3 Entering the Windows".

2 Launch the resource manager, enter "Control Panel" in the address bar of the resource manager, and press Enter .
3 Click System and Security and System in sequence to enter the system information interface.
4 View the Windows10 activation status. If Windows10 is not activated, close the resource manager and return to the Doppler.
If the system is not activated, the interface displays the Activate Windows button, as shown in the figure above.
5 Choose Setup → Maintenance → Setup , click Enable ms-setting .
6 Click Confirm → Save to exit, and the system will shut down automatically.
7 Restart the machine and perform steps 1-3 again.

Self-Tests
This series of products has the self-test function, which is mainly used to check the connection and running state of each hardware board of the machine. Depending on the permissions and test contents, there are mainly three types of Self-tests: production self-test, maintenance self-test and user self-test.
This section details the maintenance self-test and user self-test.
Wait for the Doppler to complete all the tasks before starting the system self-test; otherwise, the self-test program may not respond. It is recommended that you start the self-test software directly after starting the system.
1 Log into the Service account.

Note: In the test item area, the test item is divided by board into parent test items. Each parent test item has several child test items, which can be customized according to requirements. If the check box in front of the test item is selected (in state), the test will be put into the test sequence; otherwise, if it is cleared (in state), the test will not be put into the test sequence. When a parent test item is selected or deselected, the child test items included in the parent test item are selected or deselected by default.
Note: The main interface of the system self-test is divided into three types: production, maintenance and user. The production self-test interface is similar to the maintenance self-test interface, which is divided into five areas.

5 Self-test status display
When the self-test program runs, the version of the system self-test software will be displayed as follows in the lower left of the status bar: Version of the self-test software in service mode: xx.
During testing, the software version information in the status bar changes to the name of the current test item. The status bar shows both the test progress of the current test item and the overall test progress.
In addition, the status bar displays the remaining time in real time.

6 Monitoring information bar
The monitoring information bar displays the current time, CPU utilization, memory utilization,
CPU temperature, MF FPGA junction temperature, and DSP FPGA junction temperature in real time.
When the temperature exceeds the operating temperature, the temperature color in the status bar will be displayed in red.
7 System structure diagram
During the test, the elements in the system structure diagram will change colors according to the test results. If the test fails, the related element is displayed in orange. If the test succeeds, the related element is displayed in green. If the color does not change, the element is not tested.

When the test is complete, the test result for that test item is displayed. For a sub-test item, if this test item succeeds, PASS is displayed in green; if the test item fails, FAIL is displayed in red; if the test item is not tested, Skip is displayed in gray; if the board or component is not connected, NaN is displayed in gray; if the test item encounters an error, Error is displayed in red. For a parent test item, the test result is a summary of the test results of the selected child test items. If there are failed test items among the selected child test items, the test result of the parent test item is FAIL .
The test result of the parent test item is PASS only if the test results of all selected child test items are PASS . See the figure below.

Click a test item in the list, and the program will automatically index the detailed test results corresponding to the test item, and display the test results in detail, as shown in the figure below.

The name of a test item is automatically numbered in the following format: ZXXYY. All the test items begin with Z . XX is the serial number of the first-level test item where the test item is located, and YY is the serial number of the second-level test item. For example, the ID of the test item "main display I2C communication test" is Z0401 , where 04 indicates that it is the fourth test item of the first-level test item "main display"; 01 indicates that it is the first test item of "main display I2C communication test" under the "main display".
Start the machine, click Setup on the touch screen, and choose Maintenance > Setup > Self Test for a self-test.

The user self-test interface is divided into three areas: self-test item display area, monitoring information bar, and status bar. The functions of the monitoring information bar and status bar are the same with those on the user interface. The self-test item display area shows only tested items, but not the test results.

When you enter the user self-test interface, the self-test starts directly. After the test is complete, if any test item fails, the interface only displays the ID of the failed test item. For example, if the test of
"System Voltage monitoring" fails, only Z0210 will be displayed on the interface. According to the appendix, the test item corresponding Z0210 is "voltage test of the PHV module programmable power supply".
The PASS dialog box pops up only when the test results of all test items are PASS, as shown in the figure below.

The test report is in HTML format and can be opened using Internet Explorer by default. The format of the maintenance self-test report is as follows:

A .zip file contains N reports, which are placed in the Test Report Loop_N folder. The test result is PASS or FAIL , and N is the number of loops.
Export of test data
Without the mobile storage medium inserted on the computer, users cannot export the data. a Insert a USB flash drive or mobile storage device into the USB interface of the machine. b After specifying the logical drive letter of the mobile storage medium, directly click Save
Report on the test interface to export the test data to the root directory of the drive letter, and the folder name is Test Report . After data is exported successfully, a success message is displayed.

Logs can only be exported to the external USB storage devices. Before exporting logs, make sure that the USB flash drive is properly connected and has sufficient storage space.
1 Insert the USB flash drive into the USB interface of the machine.

3 On the pop-up interface, select the destination path and click OK to save the log.

5 After the key file is installed successfully, the system returns to the preset interface directly and the state of the optional component will be changed to Installed. After the system returns to the preset interface, the corresponding function can be used.
After installation of all optional functions, return to the optional component interface to confirm the information.
Only internal users can uninstall optional functions. The service engineer must first log in the system as the Service user before uninstallation.
1 Log in as Service , open the Setup menu, and click Maintenance to enter the Option menu.

Patient Data Management
1 Press the iStation key on the keyboard to open the iStation dialog box.
2 Click Select All Exams to select all data, or select the data to be backed up one by one.
3 Click the selected information, and then click the Backup Exam button to pop up the Backup
Patient Record dialog box, select the target disk (CD-ROM or USB flash drive), and click
Backup . The system automatically backs up the selected data.
4 Select Encrypt backup exams for USB only , enter the password in the Password and Confirm password text boxes, and click Backup to complete the setting. A Patient.7z
compressed package is generated on the USB flash drive.
You need to enter a password to open the file. The file cannot be opened without the password. Therefore, keep the backup password properly.
1 Press the iStation key on the keyboard to open the iStation dialog box.
2 Select the disk where the patient data is located. Click Select All Exams to select all data, or select the patient data to be restored one by one. Click the selected information, and then click Resume
Exam. The patient data on the current disk will be restored to the master patient database.

Recycle Bin Management
The recycle bin is mainly used to store deleted patient data, examination data and images. Patient data, examination data, and images can be recovered from the recycle bin before the recycle bin is emptied.
To recover the deleted patient data, perform the following steps:
1 Click the recycle bin icon in the system status area (this icon is unavailable when it grays out) to enter the Patient Recycle Bin interface.

2 Select an item to be restored from the list.
3 Select an operation item:
˗ Click Restore Items to restore the item on the iStation interface.
˗ Click Delete to completely delete the item. The deleted item cannot be recovered.
˗ Click Restore All Items to restore all items in the recycle bin.
˗ Click Empty Recycle Bin to clear all the contents of the recycle bin. The cleared contents cannot be recovered.
˗ Click Exit to exit the Patient Recycle Bin interface.
When there are more than 200 records in the recycle bin, the system will prompt you to empty the recycle bin next time you start the machine. It is recommended that you empty the recycle bin according to the preceding operations.
2.4.14 Transducer test
This function is used to test whether the transducer performance attenuates by comparing the test values with the baseline values.
The service engineers should create baseline values for all transducers during first ultrasound system installation or when a new transducer is initially used with an installed ultrasound system, and then back up the baseline values.
2.4.14.1 Creating and Backing Up Baseline Values
1 Log in to the system as Service account.
2 Enter Setup → Maintenance → Setup , and then click Transducer Test .

The system prompts a warning message to inform you to create value range and load baseline values.
3 Click OK to enter Transducer Test page.
The product and transducer information are displayed in the upper left corner of the screen.
4 Click Create BaseLine to create baseline values.
After a few seconds, the baseline values are created and the system prompts a warning message to inform you to load the baseline values. While creating baseline values, the system may not respond. Please don’t terminate the process.
5 Click OK to return to the Transducer Test page.
Minimum and Maximum values are displayed as references.
6 Click Export BaseLine to back up the baseline values to external USB flash drive.

You can perform test by comparing test value that is currently generated with the baseline value.

2 Enter Setup → Maintenance → Setup , and then click Transducer Test .
The system prompts a warning message to inform you to load baseline value.
3 Click OK to enter Transducer Test page.
4 Load the baseline values.
˗ If there are baseline values saved in the local hard disk, click Load BaseLine .
˗ If there are no baseline values saved in the local hard disk due to hard disk formatting, click
Import BaseLine to import baseline values from external USB flash drive first and then click
Load BaseLine .
The system automatically navigates to the file that contains baseline values.
5 Select the corresponding file in ini type, and click OK .
Minimum and Maximum values as well as baseline values of all elements are automatically displayed.
6 Click Test to start transducer test.
After a few seconds, the test values and test result are displayed.
The test results may include:
˗ Pass : indicates that all test results are between Minimum and Maximum ranges.
˗ Warning : indicates that 1 or 2 consecutive test results exceed the range of Minimum and
Maximum.
˗ Fail : indicates that more than 2 consecutive test results exceed the range of Minimum and
Maximum.

You can perform test by comparing the test values that is formerly saved with the baseline values.
Ensure that there are test values saved locally by clicking Save TestData .

2 Enter Setup → Maintenance → Setup , and then click Probe Check to open the Probe Check screen.
The system automatically performs probe check to the element of the currently activated probe. If a transducer element is in malfunction, it is displayed as a red spot. If a transducer element functions well, it is displayed as a green spot.
You can export the result image if necessary.

The battery capacity deteriorates gradually after batteries are being used for a long time. Continuous use will compromise the power performance and standby duration of batteries.
Therefore, remind users to replace batteries in a timely manner.
