The conversion will be done as soon as you click the “OK” button.
Note: When remapping separations, transparencies and overprints can change or be lost. For example if a spot color object is set to overprint to CMYK, this overprint is lost when remapping the spot color to CMYK.
9.5.6 Update Separation
When a separation's ink definition in your file doesn't match its ink definition in Librarian, use the
“Update selected separations” button to use the Librarian ink definition.
Example 1
Your file contains an ink definition different from Librarian's ink definition for that ink (different ink type, different display color, different case used in the ink's name...).
When you open the file, Neo will show a warning and use the file's ink definition.
To use Librarian's ink definition, click the update button in the Separations window.
Example 2
Your file contains several different ink definitions for the same separation (in different objects).
When you open the file, Neo will show a warning and use the ink definition of the first object defined in that separation for all those objects.
To use Librarian's ink definition, click the update button in the Separations window.
