The optional Heater Current Monitor serves as a digital ammeter for heater current monitoring. It can be used with a current transformer accessory to signal when the heater or heater control devices have failed, before damage to process material occurs.

The Motorized Valve Positioner offers two control modes: position control, which uses the slidewire feedback signal supplied with the positioner, and velocity control, which does not use the slidewire feedback signal.

The optional Second Analog Input can be configured as either a Remote Setpoint signal or a Secondary Process signal. This allows for various control applications such as ratio control, master setpoint/multiple slave operation, external cascade control, and internal cascade control.
