You can use Nexio Player to filter, search, and sort IDs in the high-res MediaBase, preview the ID inside the embedded video player and then drag-and-drop the ID from the MediaBase into
Adobe® Premiere® Pro. Premiere Pro uses the media linked through the mapped Nexio CIFS share for direct on-SAN editing.
Connections and Settings
Nexio CIFS Share
Nexio CIFS share is typically set up with its own network drive.
For Example: 172.16.239.23/Nexio01 mapped as drive Z:
The Windows 7 client will authenticate with CIFS using a Nexio login and password.

Using Nexio
Player with
Premiere Pro
The best way to use Nexio Player with Adobe Premiere Pro is to position both applications on your workspace so you can drag and drop clip IDs from the MediaBase into the Premiere Pro project tab.
You can drag and drop the ID from the MediaBase to the Premiere
Pro bin or sequence either from the ID list in the MediaBase or from the video window of the loaded ID.

Once the ID has been dropped in the bin, Premiere Pro links to the file via the CIFS share path. This allows for direct access without copying or moving the file. Linking support includes video as .mov, audio as .aiff, and stills as .jpg, .tif, .tga, .png, .bmp, or .psd.
If the file cannot be linked to, an error will display.
