For high wind loads, the Scyon cavity trim must be fixed off-stud with noggins installed at a maximum of 800mm vertical centres. Refer to Table 1 for specific fastener spacing and stud spacing requirements based on the wind load classification.

For timber frames, use a corrosion resistant 65 x 2.8mm ring shank nail or a 75 x 2.8mm D or round head galvanised smooth shank nail.
