How are measurements performed using Microscope VIS software?
Measurements are made by opening an image, selecting a geometric shape (line, circle, angle, etc.) from the 'Measurements' tab, and drawing it on the image. Results appear in the 'Measurement Results' table and next to the shape. Camera calibration is recommended for accurate measurements.
How is camera calibration performed in Microscope VIS software?
Camera calibration is done by clicking 'New' in the 'Calibration' section of the 'Measurements' tab. A reference line is drawn on a micrometer image, and the name, distance, number of units, and unit type are entered and saved. The calibration is then applied to images using the 'Apply Calibration' button.
