Questions & Answers

A A A

Is it okay to operate the unit without filters?

It is important to not operate the unit without filters in place. If a filter becomes torn or damaged, it should be replaced immediately. Operating without filters in place or with damaged filters will allow dirt and dust to reach the indoor coil and reduce cooling, heating, airflow, and the efficiency of the unit. Airflow restriction may cause damage to the unit.

Why is it important to keep the filter clean?

Keeping the filter clean decreases the cost of operation, saves energy, prevents a clogged indoor coil and reduces the risk of premature component failure.

How often should the filters be changed or cleaned?

To maintain unit efficiency, clean the filters of the ProSpace unit at least every 30 days (or sooner depending on application).
