Servicing the System
This section contains information critical to correct servicing of this Dometic ice making system. Please read and understand all information before beginning.

Refrigerant
Your Dometic ice making system contains R134a refrigerant, an environmentally friendly gas, which has no current phase-out date. R134a is a single compo- nent refrigerant and should never be charged in the
liquid phase while the unit is running. The units contain enough refrigerant for operation when they are received. It should not need normal or seasonal recharging.
R134a Tools
You should use a dedicated R-134a gage set. This system uses the common automotive type quick connects for the gage connections. They help ensure
