In case of difficulty
If you encounter a problem, please review the items in the following checklist. This guide will help you isolate the problem if the unit is at fault. Otherwise, make sure the rest of your system is properly connected or consult your authorized Alpine dealer.

Ambient temperature over
122°F (50°C)
Moisture condensation
Solution
Replace with a fuse of the same rating.
Lower the temperature in the vehicle below 122°F (50°C) by driving with the windows open or air conditioner on.
Allow enough time for condensation to evaporate (about 1 hour, depending on ambient temperature and humidity).
Drive the vehicle in an area of good GPS reception to allow the unit to recalibrate itself.
The present vehicle position cannot be measured correctly.
The vehicle position changed after the ignition was switched off.

Unstable operation
The remote control batteries are wearing out.
Move to a location where GPS satellite reception is easy.
Press the ON button on the remote control.
Clean the disc.
Have the pickup lens cleaned periodically.
Replace the remote control batteries.
