Do not place thin, delicate glassware in the lower basket.
Hinged spiked insert
Both sides of the rear section of the spiked insert can be lowered to make more room for large items, e.g. pots, pans and dishes.

^ Raise and then fold down one side of the spiked insert and then do the same to the other side.
