PayPoint is a payment processing system that allows state governmental agencies to authorize, process, reconcile, and manage multiple electronic payment types such as credit cards, debit cards, and electronic checks/ Automated Clearing House (ACH) transfers via their Web sites, IVR, POS/Kiosk, etc. PayPoint acts as a bridge between the agency application and the financial institutions that process payment transactions. Payment data is collected via multiple payment channels from the citizen and submitted to PayPoint for real-time authorization.
