Nota: Si raccomanda di configurare l'espansore di copertura nei pressi del vostro router wireless prima di spostarlo nella sua posizione definitiva.

2. WiFi Protected Setup (WPS)

Nota: Questo processo di configurazione presume la presenza di un tasto WPS sul vostro router. Se non riuscite ad identificarlo, procedete con la Sezione 3 Configurazione manuale.

1. Inserite il TEW-822DRE in una presa elettrica nei pressi del vostro router WiFi e spostate

l'interruttore sulla posizione Extender.

2. Verificare che il LED Power sia acceso (blu lampeggiante).

3. Premere e mantenere premuto il tasto WPS sul fianco del TEW-822DRE per 5 secondi. Quando

l’accoppiamento WPS sarà terminato, il tasto inizierà a lampeggiare.

4. Premete e mantenete premuto il tasto WPS sul vostro router WiFi per cinque secondi per far

partire l'appaiamento WPS.

5. Il tasto WPS fermerà il lampeggio alla fine del processoWPS. Verificare che il LED Wireless sia

accesso.

6. Se il TEW-822DRE non riesce a connettersi, ripetete i passi 3 – 5 o passate alla Sezione 3

Configurazione manuale.

7. Installate il TEW-822DRE nella posizione finale. Per prestazioni ottimali, installate il

TEW-822DRE in una posizione in cui ricevete almeno 2 barre di segnale dal vostro router ad un

dispositivo mobile.

Nota: Se il LED wireless si accende blu, la connessione wireless al router è buona. Se il LED wireless LED si accende rosso, la connessione wireless è debole. Provate a cambiare la posizione dell'espansore per ottenere una migliore connessione al router.

3. Configurazione manuale

1. Inserite il TEW-822DRE in una presa elettrica nei pressi del vostro router WiFi e spostate

l'interruttore sulla posizione Extender.

2. Collegate un cavo di rete dal dispositivo ad un porta di rete del vostro computer. Verificate che il

LED Network sul TEW-822DRE sia acceso.

3. Sul vostro computer, aprite un web browser e digitate http://tew-822dre oppure

http://192.168.10.100 nella barra degli indirizzi.

4. Il TEW-822DRE inizierà automaticamente la procedura di configurazione. Cliccate Next per

continuare.

5. Il TEW-822DRE vi chiederà di cambiare la password predefinita usata per entrare nell'interfaccia

di gestione. Inserite la vostra nuova password nel campo Password, poi confermate la password

nel campo Verify Password. Cliccate Next per continuare.

6. La procedura vi chiederà ora come volete configurare il vostro dispositivo. Selezionate Manual,

poi cliccate Next per continuare.

7. Il TEW-822DRE eseguirà un rilevamento del sito per trovare reti WiFi disponibili.

8. Quando la scansione è completa, selezionate la rete del vostro router e cliccate Next per

continuare.

9. Inserite la password WiFi del vostro router nel campo Wi-Fi Key, poi cliccate Next per

continuare.

10. Il TEW-822DRE adotterà automaticamente il nome della rete del vostro router (e la chiave

WiFi). Cliccate Next.

Nota: Potrete scegliere di avere un nome di rete WiFi diverso per la rete espansa. Tuttavia, sarà necessario connettere manualmente i dispositivi alla rete espansa. Mantenendo lo stesso nome di rete (e chiave WiFi) i vostri dispositivi si connetteranno automaticamente all'espansore di rete.

11. La procedura vi mostrerà ora i parametri della rete espansa. Se questi valori sono corretti,

cliccate Save per memorizzarli.

12. Prego attendete che il TEW-822DRE salvi i vostri parametri.

13. La configurazione manuale è ora completa. La vostra rete estesa è ora attiva.

14. Installate il TEW-822DRE nella posizione definitiva. Per prestazioni ottimali, installate il

TEW-822DRE in una posizione dove ci siano almeno 2 barre di segnale dal vostro router ad un

dispositivo mobile.
