A1 S64TC
The AI S64TC is a speclal module that controls the temperature
by convertlng the external temperature sensor(thermocoupleheslstance thermometer bulb) Input values to a 16 bit coded BIN
data dlgltal value and then externally
outputs thls data to the transistor outputlcurrent output that automatlcally conducts PID calculation.
In addltion, If BIN data handled by the PC CPti. such as from
another N D conversion module, IS written to thls module’s buffer
memory by the sequence program as a temperature measurement value, externaloutput IS posslble from the transistoroutputi
current output that automatlcally conducts PID calculation, so it
can be used for a wide varlety ofprocess controls.
The A: S64BW is a specla1 unlt that can detect dlsconnectlonof the input
power to a unlt being controlled oy belng used In combmation wlth a
translstor output type temperature control module
(AlS64TCllflCRV.
Following IS shown the temperature control module, temperature
input types, and control output types.

4 Wiring
This sectlon explalns the wirlng precautlons usmg an example
module connection.
4.1 WiringPrecautions
Sufficiently understandlng theA I S64TC andA1 S64BW functlons
shows that one of the condltlons for bulldmg a highly fellablesystem IS external wlrlng that IS not easlly affected by nolse.
Followlng are glven precautlons for external wlrlng.
(1) Use separate cables for the alternatlng current control clrcult
and the A1 S64TC and A I S64BW external inpot signals so
that there IS no effect from the alternatlng current surge or
Inductance.
(2)Do not place near or bundle wlth maln clrcult wires, hlgh voltage w e s . or load wlres from other than the PC.
Be sure to place the thermal couple and reslstance thermometer bulbs 1OOrnm or farther from maln clrcult wlres and alternatlng current control clrcults.
Place sufflclently far from clrcults that Include high frequencles
scicn as high voltage wires and Inverted load maln circuits.
Not dolng so makes IS easy for the wlres to be affected by
n o m surges, and Inductance.
13) Use one polnt groundlng on the PC slde for the shielding of
shlelded wlres and shlelded cables. However, external nose
condrtions rmay make It more favorable for the ground to be
done on the external slde.
