How do I save documents created from XLOne locally onto my computer?
If you have a shortcut to TechnologyOne Financials on your desktop, please ensure it has been recently updated
(e.g. you have re-downloaded the remote desktop file in the last month). This will update your shortcut link which
contains the default printer configuration and access to local server folders setting. Select the link relevant for
your computer and resave to your desktop.
When you select “save” in XLOne it will, by default, try to save to the local hard disk of your computer. To save to
another drive, normally listed under “My Computer”, click on “TSClient” under “Favorite Links”. The main window
will now show a list of all drives available on your PC (e.g. if you use N: drive, double click on \\tsclient\N).
You can then browse to the appropriate location and save your file. If you wish to see the folder hierarchy, select
the “Folders” arrow and it will display the directories that you have navigated.
Alternatively, clicking on the “TSClient" link under the "Favorite Links" will again show a list of all of the drives
available on your PC.
