GENERAL OPERATION-FEATURES

➢ INDIGLO button turns on the INDIGLO® night-light for three seconds.

Timer and records lap times in Chronograph mode.

SETTING TIME OF DAY, DATE AND ALARM

We’ve built setting reminders into the watch to simplify setting the Time of Day and Alarm, and made them consistent – once you know how to set Time, you can set the Alarm.

Press and hold LAP/CLEAR/SET to begin; a message will appear reminding you to hold button.

After 2 seconds, you’ll see a series of reminders, showing you functions of MODE and

START/STOP buttons and a reminder to press LAP/CLEAR/SET button when done.

➢ Press START/STOP to change value of flashing number.

➢ Press MODE to move to next digit (or digits) to continue setting time and date.

➢ When done, press LAP/CLEAR/SET to save changes and exit.

Notes on Setting Time of Day, Date and Alarm

• Pressing any key during reminder messages will cancel them and let you start setting the watch.

• During setting, the reminder arrows will pop-up to help you remember which buttons to press.

• You can set the watch to display time in 24-hour format, sometimes called “military” or

“international” time. Press START/STOP to change between 12 HR and 24 HR.

• You can set the date to display Month/Date or Day/Date. In regular Time mode (not Set mode), press and hold START/STOP for 3 seconds to change between Month/Date and

Day/Date format.

• Whenever you set the Alarm, it will automatically arm itself. Refer to the Alarm section for more details.

USING THE TIMER

➢ Press MODE until TIMER appears.

➢ Press LAP/CLEAR/SET to select pre-set countdown times (15 and 30 sec, 1, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20,

25, 30, 45 min.; 1 hour). If set time is more than 30 minutes, a tone will sound at the halfway point.

➢ Press START/STOP to start or stop Timer.

➢ While Timer is stopped, press LAP/CLEAR/SET to set it to zero.

➢ When Timer count reaches zero, a melody will sound. Pressing any button stops it. A bargraph of time remaining in countdown appears in the Time display whenever the Timer is running.

USING THE CHRONOGRAPH

➢ Press MODE until CHR appears.

➢ Press START/STOP to begin running Chrono, press again to stop or pause. Chrono continues to run even if you exit the mode.

➢ To take a lap, while Chrono is running, press LAP/CLEAR/SET. Lap time will appear frozen for 10 seconds. Chrono will then return to overall running time.

➢ To clear Chrono to zero, with Chrono stopped, press and hold LAP/CLEAR/SET for

3 seconds.

RECALLING STORED LAPS

➢ Press MODE until RCL appears.

➢ Total workout time will be displayed.

➢ Press START/STOP to scroll through stored laps.

➢ Stored laps will be cleared when Chrono is reset and started again.

USING THE ALARM

➢ Press MODE until ALARM appears.

➢ Press LAP/CLEAR/SET to begin setting . Instructions for setting Alarm can be found above in “Setting the Time of Day, Date and Alarm”.

➢ In regular Alarm mode (not Set mode), press START/STOP to turn Alarm feature on and off.

Display will show “ON” or “OFF” to right of Alarm minutes. If Alarm is “ON”, it will generate a melody when Time of Day is the same as the Alarm time. As a reminder, when the Alarm is ON, an Alarm clock symbol will appear to the left of the date while in Time of Day.

➢ Alarm melody will sound for 20 seconds, but can be stopped by pressing any button. If it is allowed to sound for the full 20 seconds, a backup alarm will automatically sound after 5 more minutes, much like a snooze feature.

UTILISATION GÉNÉRALE-FONCTIONS

RÉGLAGE DE L’HEURE, DE LA DATE ET DE L’ALARME

La montre a été conçue pour simplifier et uniformiser les réglages de l’heure et de l’alarme.

Si vous savez régler l’heure, vous pouvez régler l’alarme.

Gardez LAP/CLEAR/SET enfoncé pour commencer; un message vous indiquera de garder le bouton enfoncé.

Remarques sur le réglage de l’heure, de la date et de l’alarme

• Durant les messages de rappel, appuyez sur une touche pour les annuler et commencer le réglage.

• Durant le réglage, les flèches apparaîtront pour vous rappeler quel bouton enfoncer.

UTILISATION DU COMPTE A REBOURS

➢ Appuyer sur MODE jusqu’à afficher TIMER.

➢ Appuyez sur LAP/CLEAR/SET pour choisir des temps de minuterie préréglés (15 et 30 secondes ; 1, 3, 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 45 minutes ou 1 heure). Si le compte à rebours est de 30 minutes ou plus, la montre sonnera lorsque la moitié du temps sera écoulée.

➢ Appuyer sur START/STOP pour démarrer/arrêter le Compte à rebours.

➢ Lorsque le Compte à rebours est arrêté, appuyez sur LAP/CLEAR/SET pour le remettre

à zéro.

➢ Lorsque le Compte à rebours atteint zéro, une mélodie retentira. Appuyez sur un bouton quelconque pour l’arrêter. Durant le compte, une barre représentant le temps restant s’affiche.

UTILISATION DU CHRONOGRAPHE

➢ Appuyer sur MODE jusqu’à afficher CHR.

➢ Appuyez sur START/STOP pour démarrer/arrêter le Chrono ou faire une pause. Chrono fonctionnera même si vous changez de mode.

➢ Pour marquer un temps au tour lorsque le Chrono fonctionne, appuyez sur

LAP/CLEAR/SET. Le temps au tour apparaîtra figé pendant 10 secondes. Chrono fonctionnera ensuite normalement.

➢ Pour remettre le Chrono à zéro lorsque le Chrono est arrêté, appuyez et tenez enfoncé

LAP/CLEAR/SET pendant 3 secondes.

RAPPELER LES TEMPS AU TOUR STOCKÉS EN MÉMOIRE

➢ Appuyer sur MODE jusqu’à afficher RCL.

➢ La durée totale de la séance d’exercice s’affichera.

➢ Appuyer sur START/STOP pour faire défiler les temps au tour.

➢ Les temps au tour stockés seront effacés lorsque le Chrono sera remis à zéro et redémarrera.

UTILISATION DE L’ALARME

➢ Appuyer sur MODE pour afficher ALARM.

➢ Enfoncez LAP/CLEAR/SET pour commencer le réglage. Consultez la section « Réglage de l’heure, de la date et de l’alarme » pour savoir comment régler l’alarme.

➢ En mode Alarme ordinaire (et non Réglage), appuyez sur START/STOP pour activer/désactiver l’alarme. La montre affichera ON ou OFF à la droite des minutes de l’alarme. Activée, l’alarme jouera une mélodie lorsque l’heure est la même que l’alarme.

Comme aide-mémoire (avec l’alarme activée), le symbole d’un réveil-matin apparaît à gauche de la date (mode Heure).

➢ La mélodie de l’alarme dure 20 secondes; arrêtez-la à la pression d’un bouton. Si elle sonne durant les 20 secondes, une alarme auxiliaire sonnera après 5 minutes, comme un réveil-matin.

➢ Para tomar un tiempo de vuelta, con el Cronógrafo en marcha, oprima LAP/CLEAR/SET. El tiempo de vuelta aparece estático por 10 segundos. El Cronógrafo retoma luego el conteo.

CÓMO USAR LA ALARMA

➢ Oprima MODE hasta que aparezca ALARM.

➢ Oprima LAP/CLEAR/SET para comenzar a configurar el reloj. Podrá encontrar las instrucciones para fijar la alarma en la sección titulada “Cómo fijar la hora del día, la fecha y la alarma”.

➢ En la modalidad de Alarma regular (no en modalidad de Set), oprima START/STOP para encender y apagar la alarma. En el visualizador mostrará “ON” (encendida) y “OFF”

(apagada) a la derecha de los minutos de Alarma. Si la alarma está encendida, producirá una melodía cuando la Hora del día es la misma que la Hora de la alarma. Como un recordatorio, cuando la alarma está encendida, aparecerá el símbolo de una alarma a la izquierda de la fecha mientras está en la modalidad Hora del día.

➢ La melodía de la alarma sonará durante 20 segundos, pero puede pararla oprimiendo cualquier botón. Si deja que la alarma suene los 20 segundos, automáticamente sonará otra alarma después de 5 minutos más, como una repetición de la alarma.

Afin de couvrir les frais de retour de la montre (ce ne sont pas des frais de réparation), prière d’inclure un chèque ou un mandat-poste de 7,50 $US (É.-U.), de 6,00 $ (Canada) ou de 2,50 £ (Royaume-Uni).
