How to Uninstall SMART Notebook 11
Separate Instruction for Windows XP and Windows 7
Windows XP
1) Go to the Start button and in the right side panel, click on Control Panel.
2) Click on the Add or Remove Programs icon.
3) Very Important*** You must remove the
SMART Response Software first. Click the
Remove button.

4) Continue removing all other SMART
programs including:
SMART Common Files
SMART Education Software 2012
SMART Ink
SMART Notebook
SMART Product Drivers
5) Once all SMART programs are removed, you can use the “Automatic Installation of SMART Software”
instructions found on the website to install Notebook 10.
Windows 7
1) Go to the Start button and in the right side panel, click on Control Panel.
2) Locate and click on the
Programs and Features
icon.
3) Scroll down and find the SMART programs.
Very Important***
The SMART Response Software must be removed
first. Click to select it.
Go up to the top and click on Uninstall.
4) You might have different SMART programs
installed, but continue removing all other SMART
programs including:
SMART Common Files
SMART Education Software 2012
SMART Ink
SMART Notebook
SMART Product Drivers
}
5) Once all SMART programs are removed, you can use the “Automatic Installation of SMART Software”
instructions found on the website to install Notebook 10.
