Read carefully before installing light fixtures. If you do not understand these instructions, please contact your local Lithonia distributor before installing. Make sure your materials and installation meet local electrical codes and burial depths. Install only on GFCI protected circuit. Use silicone tape on all threaded parts to seal water out. Use only approved rigid metal conduit fitting and parts suitable for outdoor and wet location use.
INSTALLATION
2-IN-1 Mounting System: Tiered landscape lights can be mounted on standard 1/2" conduit or 3" diameter landscape flood post (LFP). Do not install in low lying locations where floods occur or water pools, or on walkways where it may cause tripping. Use a 1/2"rigid conduit riser to achieve desired height above conduit box cover.
CONDUIT MOUNTING
1. Conduit box must first be wired with 120V 60Hz supply current before wiring this fixture.
2. Connect supply wires to fixtue wires using UL listed wire connectors.
LANDSCAPE FLOOD POST MOUNTING
Refer to instructions included with the Landscape Flood Post.
WIRING
Caution: TURN OFF POWER AT CIRCUIT BREAKER. Use UL approved connectors for all electrical connections. Insulate all unused leads.
1. Feed supply cable through conduit to box.
2. Decide height of riser you need above conduit box or landscape flood post. Use only UL approved riser (not included) and coat threads of riser on both ends with teflon tape to ensure water tight seal. Feed wire from fixture through riser. Screw one end of riser into fixture, screw the other end into the conduitbox or landscape flood post adapter cap.
3. Strip 1/2" insulation off ends of wires.
4. Connect the black to black.
5. Connect the white to white.
6. Connect the ground wire (green or bare copper wire) from the fixture lead to the ground supply lead.
LAMP INSTALLATION AND RE-LAMPING
1. When lamping, turn power off at the circuit breaker and allow the fixture to cool adequately.
2. Prior to installing the lamp in the fixture, check to be sure the lamp is of proper type and wattage. Remove screws and lift off tiers. Unscrew diffuser. Screw the lamp securely into the socket, back the lamp out one to two turns, then screw the lamp back in, making sure it is secure. This properly seats the lamp in the socket. Replace diffuser. Replace tiers.
3. Restore power.
