WARRANTY

(Nuova Filtro Mixer Only – Does not apply to Water Filter System)

1. Vito Bertoni products - taps, mixers, showers and accessories



1 year parts and labour warranty



10 year replacement warranty on ceramic disc cartridges

2. Warranty claims must be accompanied by the invoice showing dates of purchase or installation. Where a product has not been installed, the product can be returned with proof of purchase, to the place of purchase .

3. This warranty may become void due to the following:-



Inability to provide proof of purchase



Products not installed by a licensed plumber



Products not installed in accordance with installation instructions

 Products exposed to pressures that exceed 500 KPA and or temperatures that exceed 75 o

C within a building

Refer AS/NZS 3500.1:2003 (Clause 3.34)



Damage to ceramic disc cartridges from foreign matter e.g. sand, dirt, stones, thread tape, pieces of copper or plastic tubing etc.



Inadequate flushing of system prior to usage, causing damage and/or obstructions to the product



Damage to product surface due to installation (including adhesives and sealants) or post-installation



Failure to install flow regulators and check valves from outlets including showers, sink and vegie mixers



Products not used for its intended purpose



Failure to observe care and cleaning instructions, including failure to regularly clean aerator inserts in taps and or shower heads

INSTALLATION: NUOVA FILTRO MIXER

This set up will allow:

1. Right hand operation (grub screw at back of spout)

2. Filter handle lever is off at vertical position.

Your Mixer comes fully assembled.

For installation follow steps below:

1. Flush out all pipe work before installation of the mixer

2. Remove adaptor nut and washer

3. Remove brass nut, brass and rubber horse shoe washer.

4. Fit mixer into the sink ensuring the dress ring is in the correct position.

5. The long handle of the mixer should be on the right side – water supply.

6. For installation on a Stainless Steel sink - fit plastic sink stiffener provided.

When installing on bench top, sink stiffener not required.

7. From underneath, install horse shoe rubber washer, horse shoe brass fixing plate and the fixing nut.

Use the enclosed tube spanner to tighten fixing nut.

8. Connect the flexible hose with the blue marking to the cold water supply.

The flexible hose with red marking connect to hot water supply.

9. When fitting a water filter system, fit adaptor nut and washer to fixing stem stud attach 300mm flexi hose to adaptor nut, and then attach to water filter system. Note:-

Water Filter System is not supplied with this mixer and is purchased separately

The Nuova Filtro Mixer does not include the Water Filter System..

Vito Bertoni recommends the installation of the following Water Filter systems to the Nuova Filtro Mixer:-

Aqua-Pure Water Filter System Code AP9100 or AP9300

The AquaPure Filter Water System can be purchased from any plumbing merchant.
