The MXL Team General Characteristics

The V400 is a cardioid dynamic microphone. The cardioid design means it is most sensitive to sound at the front and there is a small lobe of sensitivity at the back of the microphone. It is designed as a live stage microphone, but like most dynamics, it can also be used in the studio. The V400 has a built-in shock mount, integrated windscreen, and a standard 3-pin male XLR connector. Please use a durable tripod or weighted base microphone stand to support the weight of this micro phone.

This microphone connects to a preamp or mixer via XLR cable. The microphone cable can have a profound effect on the sound of any microphone. Care
