Set up your product

Pair your first Apple® device

1. Turn on the keyboard.

2. Press the Bluetooth connect button.

The lights above the Bluetooth keys rapidly blink blue.

3. Press a Bluetooth key to assign your first Apple device to that key:

• The light above the selected key continues to blink blue.

• The keyboard is discoverable for

15 minutes.

4. Complete Bluetooth pairing on your Apple device:

Mac OS® X: a. Go to System Preferences > Bluetooth. b. Click the “Setup new device” (+) button, and follow the on-screen instructions. c. Choose “Logitech K811” from the device list. d. Click “Continue.”

Apple iOS® (iPad® or iPhone®): a. In Settings, choose General >

Bluetooth, and then turn on

Bluetooth. b. Choose “Logitech K811” from the Devices menu.

Note: If your Apple device requests a PIN, enter the code using the keyboard and not the virtual keyboard on your Apple device.

The keyboard and your Apple device are now paired. The light above the Bluetooth key you have selected turns blue for 30 seconds.

5. Go to www.logitech.com/support/k811 to download and install software for your Mac to fully activate the function keys and to specify backlight settings.

Pair or reassign a Bluetooth key to another Apple device

Pair up to three compatible Apple devices with the keyboard.

1. Make sure the keyboard is on.

2. Press the Bluetooth connect button.

The lights above the Bluetooth keys rapidly blink blue.

3. Press a Bluetooth key to assign your Apple device to that key.

For example, if you already paired an Apple device to Bluetooth key 1, press the Bluetooth key 2.

• The light above the selected key continues to blink blue.

• The keyboard is discoverable for 3 minutes.

4. Go to “Pair your first Apple device” and follow step 4 to complete

Bluetooth pairing.

Note: After you press the Bluetooth connect button, the lights above the Bluetooth keys rapidly blink blue. All three Bluetooth keys can be assigned or reassigned, and the keyboard is discoverable for 3 minutes.

Switching among paired Apple devices


1. To select an Apple device to use, press the Bluetooth key (1, 2, or 3) associated with it.

2. The light above the selected Bluetooth key slowly blinks blue to show it is connecting. Then it turns solid blue for 5 seconds to confirm that the

Bluetooth connection has been made.

For example, if an iPad is paired with the Bluetooth 2 key, press that key to use the iPad with the keyboard.

Note: Only one Apple device can be active at a time.

Charge the batteries

A three-hour charge provides up to 10 days of use when you type about two hours a day with backlight on, or about one year without backlight. You can use the keyboard while it charges.

To check battery power and to charge the keyboard, do the following:

1. Turn on the keyboard.

• Battery Status light flashes green: the battery has an adequate charge.

• Battery Status light flashes red: recharge the battery. Go to step 2.

USB

2. Connect the keyboard to a computer using the Micro-USB charging cable.

Charge for 1 to 3 hours, or until the

Battery Status light turns solid green.

Note: If the battery power is critically low, the keyboard backlight is disabled and the battery status light will blink red.

Software for your Mac

Download and install the Logitech Software for your Mac to:

• Fully activate the function keys

• Use the Launch pad

• Adjust settings for the keyboard backlight

Keyboard backlight

Keyboard sensors detect your hands, turning the backlight on and off.

The backlight adjusts automatically to the level of your room light. Bright light and low battery power cause the backlight to turn off, which helps conserve battery power. In bright light, the F8 and F9 keys are disabled.

Automatic backlight control turns off when you use the F8 or F9 keys to adjust backlight intensity. You can restore automatic backlight control by turning the keyboard off then on. If the keyboard is idle for two hours or more, automatic backlight control is restored automatically.

Troubleshooting

Keyboard not working

• Slide the On/Off switch to Off then to On.

• If the Battery Status light flashes red, recharge the batteries. For more information, see “Charge the batteries.”

• Restart your Apple device.

• Go to Bluetooth settings on your Apple device to check if “Logitech K811” is present. If it is, remove it. Then follow steps 2–4 in “Pair your first Apple device” to redo Bluetooth pairing.

Mission Control (F4 key) is not working

• Downloading and installing available

2. On keyboard top, pry off cover surrounding F-keys and remove

5 screws.

3. Separate top and bottom cases.

4. Remove 5 screws securing circuit board.

5. On bottom of circuit board, remove battery cable. Remove battery from bottom case.

6. Dispose of battery and product according to local laws.

Aufladen des Akkus

Nach einer Ladezeit von drei Stunden können Sie die Tastatur bei eingeschalteter

Hintergrundbeleuchtung und einer durchschnittlichen Tippzeit von zwei Stunden pro Tag bis zu zehn Tage nutzen; ohne Hintergrundbeleuchtung ungefähr ein Jahr.

Während die Tastatur aufgeladen wird, ist sie voll einsatzbereit.

So prüfen Sie den Ladezustand des Akkus und laden diesen auf:

1. Schalten Sie die Tastatur ein.

• Akkustandsanzeige blinkt grün:

Die Akkus sind ausreichend geladen.

• Akkustandsanzeige blinkt rot:

Die Akkus müssen wieder geladen werden. Befolgen Sie Schritt 2.

USB

2. Schließen Sie die Tastatur über das Mikro-USB-Ladekabel an einen

Computer an. Laden Sie die Tastatur ein bis drei Stunden auf oder so lange, bis die Akkustandsanzeige dauerhaft grün leuchtet.

Hinweis: Bei einem sehr niedrigen Akkustand wird die Hintergrundbeleuchtung deaktiviert und die Akkustandsanzeige blinkt rot.

Hintergrundbeleuchtung der Tastatur

Sensoren erkennen Ihre Hände und schalten die Hintergrundbeleuchtung an und aus. Die Hintergrundbeleuchtung passt sich automatisch den Lichtverhältnissen in

Ihrem Zimmer an. Bei starker Beleuchtung und niedrigem Akkustand schaltet sich die

Hintergrundbeleuchtung aus, um den Akku zu schonen. Bei starker Beleuchtung sind die F8- und F9-Tasten deaktiviert.

Bei Verwendung der F8- und F9-Tasten zur Anpassung der Intensität der Hinter- grundbeleuchtung wird die automatische

Hintergrundbeleuchtung ausgeschaltet.

Sie können die automatische Hintergrund- beleuchtung wieder aktivieren, indem Sie die Tastatur aus- und wieder einschalten.

Die automatische Hintergrundbeleuchtung wird wieder verwendet, wenn die Tastatur zwei Stunden oder länger nicht in

Gebrauch war.

Fehlerbehebung

Tastatur funktioniert nicht

• Schieben Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter auf

„Aus“ und anschließend auf „Ein“.

• Wenn die Akkustandsanzeige rot blinkt, laden Sie die Akkus auf. Weitere

Coupler un premier dispositif Apple®

Chargement de la batterie

Une charge de trois heures vous assure jusqu'à 10 jours d'autonomie pour une utilisation moyenne de deux heures par jour avec rétroéclairage activé, ou une autonomie d'environ un an sans rétroéclairage. Vous pouvez utiliser le clavier pendant qu'il est en charge.

Pour vérifier le niveau de charge de la batterie et charger le clavier, procédez comme suit:

1. Mettez le clavier sous tension.

• Si le témoin de charge clignote en vert, cela indique que la batterie est suffisamment chargée.

• Si le témoin de charge clignote en rouge, vous devez recharger la batterie. Passez à l'étape 2.

USB

2. Connectez le clavier à un ordinateur en utilisant le câble de charge micro-USB fourni. Rechargez le clavier pendant

1 à 3 heures ou jusqu'à ce que le témoin d'état passe au vert en continu.

Remarque: si le niveau de charge de la batterie est très faible, le rétroéclairage du clavier est désactivé et le témoin de charge clignote en rouge.

Rétroéclairage du clavier

Les capteurs du clavier détectent vos mains pour activer et désactiver le rétroéclairage.

Le rétroéclairage s'ajuste automatiquement au niveau de luminosité de la pièce.

Si la luminosité est élevée et que le niveau de charge est faible, le rétroéclairage se désactive automatiquement pour préserver la batterie. En cas de luminosité élevée, les touches F8 et F9 sont désactivées.

La commande de rétroéclairage automatique est désactivée lorsque vous utilisez les touches F8 ou F9 pour régler l'intensité du rétroéclairage.

Dépannage

Le clavier ne fonctionne pas

• Faites glisser le commutateur

Marche/Arrêt en position Off, puis en position On.

• Si le témoin de charge clignote en rouge, vous devez recharger la batterie.

Pour plus d'informations, reportez-vous

à la section Chargement de la batterie.

• Redémarrez votre dispositif Apple.

• Accédez aux paramètres Bluetooth sur votre dispositif Apple et vérifiez si Logitech K811 est affiché. Si c'est le cas, supprimez-le puis suivez les étapes 2 à 4 de la section Coupler un premier dispositif Apple pour rétablir le couplage Bluetooth.

Mission Control (touche F4) ne fonctionne pas

1. Sur le dessous du clavier, retirez le couvercle du compartiment des piles en dévissant les 4 vis.

2. Sur le dessus du clavier, retirez le couvercle entourant les touches de fonction en dévissant les 5 vis.

3. Séparez les parties inférieure et supérieure.

4. Retirez les 5 vis utilisées pour fixer le circuit imprimé.

5. Sur la partie inférieure du circuit imprimé, débranchez le câble de la batterie. Retirez la batterie du compartiment inférieur.

6. Mettez la batterie au rebut conformé- ment aux directives locales.

Pairing del primo dispositivo Apple®

1. Accendere la tastiera.

2. Premere il pulsante della connessione

Bluetooth. Gli indicatori sopra ai tasti

Bluetooth lampeggiano rapidamente di colore blu.

3. Premere un tasto Bluetooth per associarvi il primo dispositivo Apple:

• L’indicatore sopra il tasto selezionato continua a lampeggiare con luce blu.

• La tastiera rimane individuabile per 15 minuti.

4. Completare il pairing Bluetooth sul dispositivo Apple:

Mac OS® X: a. Accedere a Preferenze di Sistema >

Bluetooth. b. Fare clic sul pulsante "Imposta nuovo dispositivo" (+) e seguire le istruzioni visualizzate. c. Scegliere “Logitech K811” dall’elenco dei dispositivi. d. Fare clic su "Continua".

Apple iOS® (iPad® o iPhone®): a. In Impostazioni, scegliere Generali

> Bluetooth, quindi attivare la funzionalità Bluetooth. b. Scegliere “Logitech K811” dal menu dei dispositivi.

Nota: se il dispositivo Apple richiede un PIN, immettere il codice dalla tastiera e non con la tastiera virtuale del dispositivo Apple.

La tastiera e il dispositivo Apple sono ora associati. L’indicatore sopra il tasto Bluetooth selezionato si illumina di colore blu per 30 secondi.

5. Visitare il sito Web www.logitech.com/support/k811 per scaricare e installare il software che consente al Mac di attivare pienamente i tasti funzione e specificare le impostazioni di retroilluminazione.

Pairing o riassegnazione di un tasto Bluetooth a un altro dispositivo Apple

È possibile eseguire il pairing di un massimo di tre dispositivi Apple compatibili con la tastiera.

1. Verificare che la tastiera sia accesa.

Nota: dopo avere premuto il pulsante di connessione Bluetooth, gli indicatori sopra i tasti Bluetooth lampeggiano rapidamente con luce blu. È possibile assegnare o riassegnare tutti e tre i tasti Bluetooth; la tastiera rimane individuabile per 3 minuti.

Passaggio tra i dispositivi Apple in pairing

1. Per selezionare un dispositivo Apple da utilizzare, premere il tasto Bluetooth

(1, 2 o 3) ad esso associato.

2. L’indicatore sopra il tasto selezionato lampeggia lentamente con luce blu per indicare che è in fase di connessione.

Diventa quindi di colore blu fisso per 5 secondi per confermare che la connessione Bluetooth è stata stabilita. Ad esempio, se l’iPad

è associato al tasto Bluetooth 2, premere quel tasto per utilizzare l’iPad con la tastiera.

Nota: può essere attivo un solo dispositivo

Caricamento della batteria

Una carica di tre ore consente di utilizzare il dispositivo fino a dieci giorni, con una digitazione di circa due ore al giorno e retroilluminazione attivata, o per circa un anno senza retroilluminazione. È possibile utilizzare la tastiera durante la ricarica.

Per verificare il livello di carica della batteria e ricaricare la tastiera, seguire la procedura qui descritta:

1. Accendere la tastiera.

• Se l’indicatore di stato della batteria lampeggia con luce verde, la batteria

è sufficientemente carica.

• Se invece lampeggia con luce rossa,

è necessario ricaricare la batteria.

Andare al passaggio 2.

2. Collegare la tastiera a un computer mediante mediante il cavo di ricarica micro USB. Ricaricare da una a tre ore, oppure finché l’indicatore di stato della batteria si illumina di luce verde fissa.

Nota: se la carica della batteria è molto bassa, la retroilluminazione della tastiera viene disattivata e l’indicatore di stato della batteria lampeggia con luce rossa.

Retroilluminazione della tastiera

I sensori della tastiera rilevano la vicinanza delle mani e attivano o disattivano la retroilluminazione di conseguenza.

La retroilluminazione viene regolata in modo automatico in base al livello di illuminazione della stanza. In presenza di luce intensa e con un basso livello di carica della batteria, la retroilluminazione viene disattivata per risparmiare energia.

Con una luce intensa, i tasti F8 e F9 vengono disattivati.

Il controllo automatico della retroilluminazione viene disattivato se si utilizzano i tasti F8 e F9 per regolare l’intensità della retroilluminazione.

Per ripristinare il controllo automatico della retroilluminazione, spegnere e riaccendere la tastiera. Se la tastiera rimane inattiva per più di due ore, il controllo automatico della retroilluminazione viene ripristinato automaticamente.

Risoluzione dei problemi

La tastiera non funziona

• Spostare l’interruzione di accensione/ spegnimento su Off, e quindi nuovamente su On.

• Se l’indicatore di stato della batteria lampeggia con luce rossa, ricaricare la batteria. Per ulteriori informazioni, vedere la sezione "Caricamento della batteria".

• Riavviare il dispositivo Apple.

• Accedere alle impostazioni Bluetooth del dispositivo Apple per verificare se

è presente l’opzione “Logitech K811”.

In caso affermativo, rimuovere tale opzione. Effettuare quindi i passaggi da 2 a 4 della sezione “Pairing del primo dispositivo Apple” per eseguire nuovamente il pairing Bluetooth.

Mission Control (tasto F4) non funziona

• Per risolvere il problema, scaricare e installare il software

1. Sul lato inferiore della tastiera, staccare il coperchio e rimuovere le 4 viti presenti.

2. Sul lato superiore della tastiera, staccare la copertura dei tasti

Funzione e rimuovere le 5 viti presenti.

3. Separare la parte superiore e la parte inferiore.

4. Rimuovere le 5 viti che fissano la scheda del circuito elettrico.

5. Staccare il cavo della batteria dalla scheda del circuito elettrico.

Rimuovere la batteria dall’alloggiamento.

6. Smaltire la batteria e il prodotto secondo le normative locali vigenti in materia.
