Frequently asked questions

The VT2000 PZ is designed to be used exclusively with Campingaz® CV 270 PLUS, CV 300 PLUS, CV 470 PLUS cartridges. Using other gas cartridges may be dangerous.

Open the gas to a medium setting by turning the control wheel (1) around 1/4 turn in the direction of the " + " arrow. Press the button (4) once or as many times as necessary to light up the burner.

Always use the torch with extreme care, well away from inflammable substances, wall or combustible object. In the event of a leak (smell of gas), close the valve. While the torch is in operation (and immediately afterwards) some of the components are extremely hot (particularly the burner nozzle). Do not touch these elements without suitable protection. Do not abuse your torch and do not use it for applications for which it was not designed.

Allow the burner to cool completely. Unscrew the burner by hand, in the direction of the arrow A (fig. 3). Screw the new Campingaz® burner in place by hand, replacing the worn burner (or a different type, purchased as an accessory).
